Never waited that long before - used to be hours - not days! 7/6 VERY RUDE front desk person. I should have known then not to proceed. Did a walk in since they are "open" to 7 BUT not for X-ray that my provider wanted done that evening to make therapy choices. Went back following morning to be told wait only a few moments - about 20 minutes later got X-rays. The tech was having a personal conversation with another staff member on purchasing personal products from her all while I stood there waiting. All of the other employees there are always busy and no one leaves crying... those that have not worked with my husband or daughter seem to know their stuff. I got a text yesterday (Sunday) with an appointment reminder but saying 8:40 AM, which there was no way I could do since I have work calls all morning (and never would have scheduled it at that time in the first place). They are closed on Sunday, so I called first thing today, and let them know about the confusion. Rebecca? insisted I had made the appointment for 8:40 AM, and firmly insisted I was wrong. Okay, let's reschedule. Earlier time that wasn't in the early morning was almost 3 weeks out, but I took it. Great. Then a few hours later I got an email notifying me that they'd billed my credit card $50, so I called, and that's the late cancellation fee. I asked that since I had no idea about the wrong time until I got the text on Sunday, and that since they were closed on Sunday, it was impossible for me to contact them with more than 24 hours notice. I also asked why she hadn't mentioned the fee when we talked that morning. She let me know it's in the contract and she sees no reason she should mention it. She was curt, unappologetic, and uninterested in trying to make anything better. I've been on-time for all other appointments, or rescheduled early, so I'm not a problematic customer. I'm fine paying the fee, but the curt attitude with no empathy or any attempt to try to improve the situation was too much.

Well here's some news, I happened to check a GoodRX price on my last prescription fill as soon as I walked out of the store, and immediately walked back in to tell the pharmacy counter assistant that GoordRX showed a different price. I was then told "well that's the price we have in your account." Total BS. Yesterday my wife filled 5 prescriptions. She was told "these are the GoodRX prices." Well low and behold, we checked them on GoodRX when we got home and almost all of them were at least 50% less. I will NEVER trust that pharmacy again. :-(

Based on a recommendation from my bestie, Smoky Hill Eye Care was highly recommended. Getting an appointment was easy. (Bonus: They have appointments on Saturdays.) Office staff are very professional, and the testing done is thorough. They are upfront with communication about the costs of procedures and bill insurance appropriately. Dr. Puzzo was friendly and got my new prescription updated with ease. The only thing that took a little more time than I would have liked was the online questionnaire I had to complete before my appointment. There was no way to mark some questions with multiple answers, so you had to answer a question multiple times to have more than one answer. (In my case, it was because I have multiple allergies.)

My eyes have never felt better to be honest. The staff know how to order a year supply of lenses- always with a rebate code through the lens company and always get you the best deal when dealing with insurance. People got to eat. Somebody happen to come out and explain that there are 2 desk stations , one for Orthopedic doctor visits and another for PT visits. They told us to come back in a bit later and someone would help. Came back and made an appointment and asked if they could call with the co-pay amount, they said they would call 24 hours before the appointment with that amount. No phone call was given. 1st appointment had to be cancelled by them because the PT woman got sick , rescheduled with a different PT person. Very thorough 1st appointment. He was very good. Heard around the office that people were getting ill. Came back a second time , overheard one PT guy telling his patient he was ill and the patient said she had gotten sick too. We got sick and now another PT person said he was sick. Geeze thats an issue and this place needs to get a deep clean.
