They had my 2022 Forest River Wildwood FSX from September 23rd till January 28. Thats four months after I gave them the check from the insurance company for the full amount of the repairs needed from a tire blowout that I suffered on September 20. The turnaround was way too long and there were too many setbacks. Obviously, there is no paint department there and they have to sub out that part of the work once the mechanical and structural damages have been fixed. Fiberglass, paint and finish work was perfect but I did not like being without my camper for four months when I was accustomed to making, on average, one trip per month. read more

We purchased a new $65,000.00 Keystone, Impact 311 Toy Hauler from Bent's RV in Boutte, LA, in June 2019. Had to bring it back to them in July, as the refrigerator or the oven would not work, among other punch list issues. They kept if from July to September 21st and still did not repair/replace the refrigerator. We had to pick up the camper to use for our Honeymoon (with no refrigerator). During the month we had it at home, we received storm damage to the awning and the front cap. Filed an insurance claim, brought it back to Bent's in November to continue the repair/replace the refrigerator and to repair storm damage. They did not send the estimate of storm damages to the insurance company till December 18th, more than a month after we brought it to them. Brought them the insurance check in February. Finally got a call the the unit was repaired and ready for pickup around the 13th of April. We went to get it, the awning was still damaged. We were assured that they would order the awning fabric to complete the repair. Still waiting on that. We took the unit home, a 2 1/2 hour drive. The whole time driving home did not realize till we got home that they did not put the catch plate back on the hitch. Was the scariest ride ever. We thought the super glide was malfunctioning. read more

The service after the sale is awful. Amongst other issues, there is very poor communication between customer and service department. After initial contact with the Service Manager for dissatisfaction, there was no return call from the manager after 12 days. read more

I'm in the market for an RV or tiny home. I pass the Boutte location every day on my commute to work. I stopped by on Saturday when they are open to view the tiny home I absolutely adore, but they only view by appointments, and only on Mondays and Fridays. I work 7am to 7pm 6 days a week, so looks like i will take my business elsewhere. read more

UPDATE - Today- Wednesday instead of putting out the fires after being cited yesterday, they continued to stoke them. Complaints from neighbors continued to poor into our office. We cited them again today and the State Fire Marshall had to come down from Baton Rouge and issue a cease and desist order. This is a company that has been repeatedly cited and informed that this activity was illegal. The Parish Ordinance needs to be strengthened if possible. Bent RV also applied for and received a property tax exemption from St. Charles Parish when they bought the initial parcel of land. Bent RV in Paradis totally disrespected the law, nearby residents, and St. Charles Parish this morning by the igniting of several large piles of trees cleared along Highway 90 in Paradis. Workers for Bent have been cited on at least 2 previous occaisions. A contractor came to my office several days ago and asked for permission to burn and was clearly told the property is too close to nearby residents according to parish ordinance and that burning there would be illegal. Both the contractor and owner were cited by our deputies...again. I have requested that the fire marshall bring state charges as well. read more

I brought my 2020 Fusion to them twice. The 1st experience was horrible they kept my RV For 2 months and did about 20 minutes worth of work that was rigged, I went and picked it up to find they had also damaged the 5th wheel hookup, I manged to fix that in the parking lot before I left. Now we are waiting on parts. A month later I returned with the unit to have the awning arms for the rear replaced a bathroom door and decal on the outside, It took the another 2 months to complete those repairs. Upon my return to pickup the unit I noticed my 5th wheel hookup was completely broken this time. I was so angry with that I didn't pay much attention to the decal that was suppose to be replaced. Once i got the unit back home and opened it up there were nails and saw dust all over, wood putty on the mattress, closet doors not closing and missing screws, the slide out missing screws and seals, metal trim all bent , the inside trim around the bed not put on correctly. I know I am forgetting other damages. I was told the floor in the slide out needed to be replaced under warranty because it had water damage. I was never told about this repair nor did i authorize that. Its been 7 months and was told i would have someone contact me to setup to have everything fixed. I have sent several emails and still no word from them. I don't know how they a place conducts business like this but I would never bring anything to them for repair work. read more

Came in for warranty work and they ended up breaking more things than they fixed. On top of poor workmanship and being lied to about things being fixed, they left scraps strewn about, wrapped parts in our bedding, and trash on the kitchen table. read more

Got a quote for a camper and they added on nearly $500 dealer prep charge. Really? Then never followed up. Found a better price with a dealer who does not play funny money games. Had an issue and they refused to fix it under warranty because we didn't buy it from them. They didn't even have the floor plan we purchased. Shame on them! Took my TT that I bought new from them in for a warranty repair that they said would take no longer than 2 weeks that was in January!!!! And here we are in April TT still there and they just keep making excuses. So my recommendation is, buy and service elsewhere read more

Singlehandedly the worst sales experience I have ever had. And the it continues to get worse. They failed to deliver the trailer I purchased on April 13th, 2018 on three different occasions after assuring me it would be ready. When I did pick it up, it wasn't the trailer that I had agreed to purchase. They also added on a $200+ documentation preparation fee on to the original agreed up on price with no explanation. The still have not provided a tv bracket, a gas hose for outdoor grill, a weight distribution hitch or made repairs on numerous items that were wrong with the trailer when they finally let me pick it up. I have owned the trailer now since April 13th however it has only been in my possession for nine days over the past 76 days due to them not being able to actual provide to me a 100% working trailer that we agreed upon at purchase time. These are not big items that I need, very small items that Bents has not provided or fixed. I would happily share any additional details to anyone interested. Bottom line, Bent's does not appear to care at all about its customers or the products it sells. read more

After they had our rv for a total of 5 months we get it back filthy, full of mouse dropping's and a mouse in it that did damage to our bathroom cabinets and either it chewed a wire or they cut it and did not fix it so Our fridge and a light don't work over the stove. I would never ever take anything to them again. They never called to give us updates if I needed to check on it I had to call and then they give u excuse after excuse why it ain't done. We bought this camper from there in 2016 it's been in the shop 11 months out of the 2 years we have had it. It's been nothing but a problem for us and then them to treat it like it's a piece of crap leaving it with rodents and filthy and messed up from there neglect is horrible business. We work hard for what we have and would like them to treat our stuff with respect like they would treat there expensive stuff. this is a very expensive camper and for us to get it back like this is so disrespectful to us a customers. So no one every bring ur stuff to them for repair. We had problems with our RV hitch while in New Orleans. The hitch was covered under warranty and the parts were ordered and sent to Bent's. We had waited for 2 1/2 days for the parts to come in. We told them we were in a hurry to get out of town to get back home. We were at Bent's by 2:00 the day they came in and were told they couldn't get to the truck until the next morning. My husband was there at 8:00 to get it in early. They kept the truck all day, finishing it at almost 5:00. Customers coming in to purchase RV's were offered someone's car to go and ride around until their RV was ready, my husband sat there all day with no lunch and was finally offered some water in the afternoon. All they cared about was selling new RV's. They didn't seem to care about their service customers at all. This is awful customer service. When we got our truck home my husband checked the hitch...thank God...the hitch was in backwards and the pin wasn't all the way in. If we had attached the fifth wheel and driven with it like that there is no telling what would have happened. Avoid this place!! read more

We took our rv in for repairs, the slide would not roll out. They had it 9 days. Fixed the slide but cut 2 holes in my vinyl flooring and did not tell me or repair it. Now 4 months later the slide won't roll in. Took it to another shop and was told the repairs that were made before were substandard as the plastic was not glued all the way around and fell off and became caught in the slide mechanism. I have been in the market for a Tiny Home, actually about to make my purchase from a tiny home dealer in Texas, when a friend messaged me and told me there was a tiny home right here in Boutte from a local dealer. So I got in my car and drove to your Boutte location. When I pulled in the parking lot was empty so I was thinking to myself perfect timing I can actually sit down and get some information and look at this home before I make my final purchase. Well that didn't go as planned. I walked in your facility, which was completely empty, by the way. I was greeted by the receptionist, who was very friendly and tried to get me a salesman to come up and help me. There were two salesmen sitting in an office talking to each other, see that's the thing about having glass offices your customers and potential buyers can see everything you do and how you react. The receptionist picked up the phone and called the female saleswoman that was sitting in the office, and I am standing there looking at her, instead of Angie getting up to come up front to greet me, she yell and asked if it was raining and gestured to just give me a card. Angie would not come out of the office to help a potential buyer for the tiny home you have sitting in your lot. Tiny homes are not in great demand here in south Louisiana. I felt very disrespected and if Angie would of come up to the front and did her job as a saleswoman should of ..... i probably would have been the owner of that tiny home sitting on your lot right now and Angie would be getting her Commission check. I came with my own financing but Angie didn't know that because she didn't take the time out of her not busy day to help the customer. I hope the way I was treated today is not how you treat all the customers that come to buy from your dealership to purchase a RV or camper from you.. read more

We had an awful experience at the Boutte location. My 79-year-old father-in-law bought a used RV here and was promised it would be mechanically sound and in good working condition when we took possession of it. We did a walk-through with the mechanic and everything seemed to be working fine except the air conditioning kept cutting out because of a circuit breaker tripping. The mechanic reassured us that it would not be a problem and later told us during that visit that it was plugged into the wrong voltage and needed to be plugged into a higher voltage outlet. We later found out that this information was false because once we plugged it into his campsite, the air-conditioning kept tripping the circuit breaker and the breaker box would get very hot. When we called the dealership to ask about this issue, they said that we could not run various appliances and things at the same time as the air conditioning. What kind of BS is that.? We then tried to call the dealership back again to speak to the sales person about this issue so they could make good on their promise, and did not get any return calls for a week. Meanwhile, my father-in-law had to put a small fan on the breaker box to keep it cool so it would not trip the air conditioning and that he would be comfortable with these record high temperatures. In my opinion, this is a serious fire hazard. When we finally did get in touch with the sales person, he explained that there was nothing he could do about it and that he could get somebody to fix it, but it would be at our expense. I also need to point out that he is permanently living in this RV in an RV park community. So, it is even more imperative that this issue be solved for his comfort. I think this is seriously bad business and I recommend no one shop for RVs at Bent's RV Rendezvous in Boutte or deal with the sales person Ben. read more

We recently purchased a used pull behind camper 3 months ago in Boutte, La with this shady company. Staff is professional bull******* and that's putting it nicely. We were denied a new camper that was cheaper than the older camper, upon looking at the older camper we were assured that a complete inspection would be done before it left the premises. Needless to say, the tv broke the 2nd day we had it, the outdoor shower was broke, the camper was filthy as we found dog chews under the mattress we were sleeping on, we battled a roach infestation, the worst was yet to come. After the first bouts of rain the entire wall in bedroom started leaking copious amounts of water down the wall and onto the head of our bed, after the recent artic fronts the slide out in bunk room was frozen on the inside and leaked once outside defrosted, the straw for us was when the light fixture fell out of the ceiling over the dining table, and the cushions and boards under the seating were wet. When we first viewed this camper it had a musty odor and I was told that was normal, really where do these people come up with crap like that. We relinquished the camper bc we do not trust Bent's to service and repair this camper and were notified that the lien holder is auctioning off the camper probably as is. My husband and I are considering hiring an atty and bringing them to court as this occurrence will negatively affect our credit. So buyers beware bc things are not right with this dealership and salesmen. read more
