We had a prior engagement that day so we told them we would be there Monday afternoon when my husband got off of work. We get to the shop where we left it and the camper was not there (he never informed us he moved it). I caller her and asked where it was and she informed me it was at their house. I asked her the address and she said she would call me back she needed to call him. After a little while she calls back and said it's going to be another 2 hours because he's still working on it. Not really understanding why they called and said it was ready, but ok.so we wait... She finally gives me the address so we head there after the 2 hour wait. I will attach the photos so you can see all the damage that was done and extra damage. They messed up the gooseneck attachment in the front, drilled out our storage locks (not sure why they were wanting to go in our storages), every propane bottle was empty, staples and/or nails coming from the inside of the camper that you can feel on the side of the wall, didn't do the work we were needing done, put holes in the back of the camper (you should see the caulking job and damaged a ton of extra things. I will add pictures so you all will see what we were left with. Then wanted more money for me to leave with this disaster. Now I had to take it for a new estimate to repair what was done to our camper...... Wait for it..... $22,000.... Yes that's right.... $22,000. After contacting several officials in St. James Parish we learned there are numerous people contacting them wanting to see what they can do about the work they did on their rv's. I am not one to leave bad reviews even when something is bad!!! But in this case this is not a little mistake. This is an excessive amount of money it will take to fix the damages. After the fact people are telling us they wish they would have known that's where we were going because they would've have told us not to! Well, here we are and there's no way I can afford the repairs my camper is facing.. The original quote from him was $4200.... now its going to cost me $22,000 BIG DIFFENCE I just don't understand how people can do something like this!! I noticed our battery system was not charging while plugged to shore power. After trying everything I knew to try I gave up and called Old Fart & Young Chick RV Tech. Tom answered my call while he was driving back from Texas. I explained what was happening and what I had done. He proceeded to talk me thru troubleshooting and some things to try. We, I mean He, determined that I was having an intermittent problem with my Converter. He had me trip the breaker to the converter for a few minutes and then reset it. It has been working and keeping the battery at full charge for the last 24 hours. I called Tom back and tried to pay him for his time he had spent helping me and wouldn't let me do that. I had a Vintage Air system installed by the shop that did my LS Swap on my 1970 C10 and they made a mess of a lot of things: Transmission failed, loose motor mounts, and, the worst, they left a rubber fuel line laying across the exhaust, allowing 8 gallons of fuel to spew out on a hot exhaust system. After working through those nightmares and spending thousands more, I found that the A/C wasn't working anymore. Took the truck down to Mack (authorized Vintage Air shop) and they went through it and tested the system, recharged it, and gave me the news...the original compressor wasn't changed out and was going bad. Moral of the story, go to Mack's.

They had my 2022 Forest River Wildwood FSX from September 23rd till January 28. Thats four months…read moreafter I gave them the check from the insurance company for the full amount of the repairs needed from a tire blowout that I suffered on September 20. The turnaround was way too long and there were too many setbacks. Obviously, there is no paint department there and they have to sub out that part of the work once the mechanical and structural damages have been fixed. Fiberglass, paint and finish work was perfect but I did not like being without my camper for four months when I was accustomed to making, on average, one trip per month.

Had to bring it back to them in July, as the refrigerator or the oven would not work, among other punch list issues. They kept if from July to September 21st and still did not repair/replace the refrigerator. We had to pick up the camper to use for our Honeymoon (with no refrigerator). During the month we had it at home, we received storm damage to the awning and the front cap. Filed an insurance claim, brought it back to Bent's in November to continue the repair/replace the refrigerator and to repair storm damage. They did not send the estimate of storm damages to the insurance company till December 18th, more than a month after we brought it to them. Brought them the insurance check in February. Finally got a call the the unit was repaired and ready for pickup around the 13th of April. We went to get it, the awning was still damaged. We were assured that they would order the awning fabric to complete the repair. Still waiting on that. We took the unit home, a 2 1/2 hour drive. The whole time driving home did not realize till we got home that they did not put the catch plate back on the hitch. Was the scariest ride ever. We thought the super glide was malfunctioning.
