Have you ever needed a tow in a parking garage? Apparently, most tow companies now have only…read moreflatbed trucks that can't negotiate the turns in a parking garage, so getting towed out of one is a huge ordeal. I had a dead battery that hospital security wasn't able to jump, so I asked State Farm to send a tow truck in case the battery wasn't the problem. They connected me with two companies that declined because they only had flatbeds. I found Rudy Smith on my own, referred by two other companies I called. They only have one smaller truck, but Timothy came to my house, picked me up and took me to my car within half an hour of my call. Turns out, all I needed was a jump with good equipment by someone who knew what he was doing, so the truck wasn't necessary. But he was so nice and reassuring, it was a pleasure to do business with him. If I ever need a tow again, I'll just call them again and turn the receipt in to the insurance company myself.

First of all when I call to check the status of my tow the young lady who answered the phone was so friendly! Most of the time when you call a tow company it's a chore! She answered all of my questions and followed up! Let me tell you the level of professionalism was Top Tier! (I was ready to go in but I was taken aback!) The was the absolute best experience I EVER had with tow service. Now it's time for the tow. I was called when he was about 30-45 minutes away. I told the young man that I was a little bit away.. He jokingly told me to "take my time but don't take my time!" He was hilarious... I think he should have taken up stand up comedy but towing is even the better! He explained the process to me and what I should expect.. I said to my self I must be on PUNKED! This type of service is unheard of. I was so impressed that I just want to get a car towed for the hell of it! I'm about to start calling people to see if they need something towed. He made of point to show me the side of the truck where he has the words so elegantly airbrushed on the side of the truck that says... "Towing not Hoeing", surrounded by flames! This guy is a riot! Just when I'm aggravated with the city something like this pops up and makes me love New Orleans all over again! I promise I will NEVER use another service again!
