The mechanic who serviced my machine, prior to me taking it home, answered my questions and patiently showed me again how to run it. I love that they will service all equipment they sell in house, as well (unlike Lowe's or Home Depot!!). I'll definitely be back for my car inspection and any other auto repairs that I need. I highly recommend Blair Auto Service.

Ed was fantastic…read more I was buying a hybrid car out of state and contacted him for a pre purchase inspection. He was incredibly responsive and said he could get an inspection done within 48 hours. He got it done the next day. The inspection was extremely thorough. In addition to providing a written report, he summarized his report over the phone and took me through the few things he found. His price is less than the national chains charge and he provides a better product. I would recommend him extremely highly to anyone buying a used car.

I called Ed at Auto Critic of Western PA, and he was friendly and responsive. The price was, I thought, extraordinarily low, and, as soon as I gave the all clear, he went (on a Saturday, even) out to the dealer to test drive and evaluate the car. I was able to use his report to get the dealer to do some repairs. The process with him was easy and fast. What more could you want?

I am so SOO grateful for the team at Hunter's Garage!!! 100% RECOMMEND…read more They did suspension repairs for me and diagnosed a problem that had stumped another shop and a dealership, and they even took pictures after the repairs were completed so I could see the work for myself. They walk you through exactly what they find before touching anything, and it's clear how detail oriented they are, down to the small stuff most shops skip. I have all the confidence in this shop to do things the right way. Scheduling is easy, they remember your name and your car (everyone is so kind), and they never try to upsell you on something you don't need. Great value. Highly recommend!!!!

I was in need of a vehicle inspection and instead of going to a big box type of location I had…read moreasked my brother-in-law, him being a mechanic himself, where would be a reliable place that would do the inspection and not try and find something that "needed" fixed. He pulled through and told me about this place. Was it a bit out of the way to get to? Yes, but the service you receive while here is second to none. I pulled in not sure if I was at the right place, but was reassured once I was inside when I was greeted with, "The big door works just as good." To my defense, I'm a bit off when it comes to garages/body shops. I know the basics about cars, but good forbid someone asks for my assistance with fixing a car, I'm better to stand there and hold a beer than hand you a whats-a-hoozit. This goes for a garage that specializes in vehicle maintenance as well. Upon arrival I noticed that they do not take cards here, so I had to venture out to an ATM. By the time I had returned, no more than ten minutes, the gentleman was done with inspecting my vehicle. He was very friendly, a great conversationalist, and didn't mince words. He didn't attempt to tell me something was in need of fixing, he just suggested some future maintenance. While he was writing up the paperwork and getting the new sticker for the window I got to meet the dog. By far the best thing to happen here! I mean, come on, anytime you meet a dog in a business (or anywhere for that fact) you have to stop, drop and pet. And the dog was very well mannered even though he may have been territorial. Once I was sniffed and he was petted, we were on good terms. Definite place to look into if you happen to be in the area and in need of some type of work for your vehicle. Fair pricing here as well. **to note again, cash only**

They did a fantastic job and saved me a ton of money and one HUGE headache. There were issues, with the car being 65 years old and original, but nothing unexpectedly wrong with the car. However the paperwork was screwed up, no one saw it, not the dealer and not me. Had it shipped to California with that paperwork it is likely I could never have registered the car in this state or if I could it would have cost a lot of time and money to do so. Because I used PPI the paperwork mistake was found before shipment and is being fixed by the dealer. Once I receive the corrected paperwork and the car I should have no troubles. PPI did an excellent job taking numerous photographs as well as checking and documenting everything and follow up conversation discussing all the issues and findings. Had I have gone to a nationally known brand it would have cost more and I doubt I could have gotten better or more professional and personalized service. PPI is a great value for the money. Thank you, PPI
