I'm always running to Bento Bus when it stops by Tech. On the days they visit campus, they stay from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Service is great and whoever is manning the truck is always friendly so I love coming back. The food is delicious, affordable, and so much better than on campus dining. My go-to is the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl for $10.00. It comes with steamed white rice, chopped lettuce, soy beans, tempura crunch, shredded seaweed and their signature sauce. To top it all off, I love drizzling on sriracha. It's honestly such a steal and I'm so glad they still come by campus.

I tried Bento Bus and it was an awesome food truck. I saw several people eating it and glad I tried it. Their entire menu looked great. I went with the steak nachos and was very pleased. The steak and toppings were excellent, but my favorite part of it was the chips. I'd happily get food from this food truck again in the future.

TLDR: can't go wrong with the bulgogi rice bowl Bento bus is my favorite option when it comes to food trucks on campus. It has pretty unique and semi-healthy food options. My go to order is the bulgogi rice bowl, which has bulgogi beef, rice, tempura crispy bits, edamame, and lettuce. The meat is always flavored well and the rice has a nice texture to it. The lettuce and edmame also make it feel healthy so that's always a plus. I've also tried their surrito (sushi + burrito) before, which was good but it fell apart when i was trying to eat it and was very messy.

I was crazy impressed with this place. They parked outside of the convention center for Anime Weekend Atlanta and I am told they were open until 3am (did not confirm that tho!) I wanted quick and affordable Japanese food so I came here! They have a lot of good fusion items like tacos and apparently a sushi burrito (based on pics other people posted- I didn't notice it on the menu when I went). I was worried the rice bowl would be dry but they assured me there would be enough sauce for all the rice, so I went with one. My bestie and I also got our own set of dumplings and I am glad we got our own because they are too small to be shareable! The dumplings were good but nothing I'd have to have again. The rice bowl was the best! It didn't have quite as much sauce as I like but they had Sriracha out so I was able to use that to get the ratio I wanted. It was fabulous. I would definitely eat here again! To try: Surrito Teriyaki Chicken Tacos Loved: - Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl Liked: - Pork Dumplings

A quick, healthy, & delicious option for lunch! I love their creative spin on the nachos, but my go-to is the tofu rice bowl! I have to specially shoutout the awesome customer service I received today in the midtown food truck park. It was pouring raining, but I was determined to satisfy my craving for that yummy marinated tofu. The guys in the truck noticed that it was raining super hard, so one assured me that he'd walk my food out to my car! (So sweet!) He forgot my fork, but I wasn't tripping... I could get a fork later, but without me even asking he brought me a fork... in the rain! Above and beyond customer service, man!!! They'll always have a customer in me :)

Actually wasn't expecting it, but ran across the Bento Bus when I was at Japanfest At the Infinite energy center, and decided to give them a shot while I was there. They had a limited menu today, but what I decided on was their Asian BBQ Steak Nachos ($7-$1 more for steak), which are Deep Fried wanton chips covered by lettuce, pico de gallo, roasted corn, queso cheese and a little sriracha. Flavors were good, beef wasn't tough, and veggies were super fresh. The Wanton chips were the thing I had a problem with. Tasty though they were, they really got soft very quickly, and couldn't really hold up the weight of any of the ingredients. I had to finish them off with a fork. Service was good and fast. I'm used to putting in an order at food trucks and taking 10 minutes or so to get my order, but they were yelling my name within 5 minutes. I'm glad I stopped in to the bento bus, and would happily go back to try something else!

    Chicken teriyaki tacos. Soooo delish!!

Came to the Brookhaven Food Trucks and this truck just stood out of the crowd. And they did not disappoint. The BEST chicken tacos I've ever had!! I got the chicken teriyaki tacos. The mouth watering flavors and the crunchiness of the tacos were a great combination. I highly recommend this food truck!!! The only thing that turned me off was my edamame was cold. I think they forgot to heat it up?

Yummy! I visited the Bento Bus at the Atlanta Food Truck Park Saturday afternoon, 4/5/14. I was attracted to the Surrito (Sushi fixings in a burrito), but I wanted to be able to eat it all in a bowl. The friendly staff said, "Well you could actually get our Rice bowl instead of the Surrito. It has everything the Surrito has except for the cucumber and avocado, and I can put the cucumber and avocado in your bowl for you." Awesome service! The food was super tasty. Next time I'll ask for a little less of the special sauce or see if I can get it on the side. The sauce is delicious, but I'd just like to have less. The dish as a whole was fresh and refreshing. Such a great find! I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Our community has been allowing several food trucks to set up for us throughout the week. This was my first time seeing this food truck and decided to partake in what they had. They were like an Asian fusion type of truck. The menu included Asian tacos, Asian nachos, edamame and etc. I ended up ordering the teriyaki Asian chicken nachos which come in full and half. I wanted to grab a ginger lemonade but they didn't have it which was really disappointing since it was on the menu. I walked back to my apartment and opened up the meal. Maybe it was me but I guess I was looking for my creativity to the dish. It was teriyaki chicken, tempura, corn and lettuce. The bowl aesthetically just looked basic. The flavors were ok but it looked like something I would throw together in the kitchen late night last minute. If they do come back I would hope they have the beverage for one and two the tacos are more enticing. Note that the meat choices are steak, chicken and tofu.

I visited the Bento Bus at the food truck lot on 12th Street in Midtown. The whimsical pastel truck caught my attention and I found myself in line. When I got towards the front, I was disappointed to see that the menu did not offer bento boxes or any traditional Japanese packed meals. The truck offered rice bowls, rice tacks, or rice burritos (by different names). I ordered a Surrito (rice burrito) with tofu. I was kind of shocked at how small it was when it was handed to me. The burrito was wrapped in a thin sesame soy wrap. I was intrigued by how something so thin could hold together a burrito so tightly. When I bit into the burrito, I got a mouthful of rice. Rice is nice, but it had no taste. When I worked my way down to the tofu, the marinade began to come out. I was satisfied with my lunch, but overall I found $8 to be a lot for such a small burrito that was mostly filled with white rice. Kinda regretting not opting for the burger bus. Sadly, Bento bus was a bent-no.

The best food truck I've ordered from so far at Georgia Tech! Fast service and great Japanese food.

This is a great community event in Dunwoody. However, I wish there could have been more food trucks…read moreand options. There were only 9 trucks/stands when I went. I had to BBQ pulled pork sandwich from Eat Dis BBQ. The sandwich was really good. It was pretty juice and had the right amount of sauce on it. However one of the guys making the sandwich seemed flustered and overwhelmed and making a bit of a scene in front of my husband and I because his younger employee who runs the money portion was late. Stuff happens-learn to roll with the punches and not show that to your customers. We got beer from Moondog Growlers-we got there Summer beer and it was good. They had a weird option for card users. They either do cash or want you to Venmo it. As we were ordering our beer and I was talking, the guy running the stand interrupted me mid order just to let us know how he needs payment. In my opinion, he could have started with that or waited until we were done ordering. We got crepes from Lisa's Creperie and they were so sweet. The crepes were good and fresh! Super hot when you get them so be careful! Then we finished the night with a drink from Love at Wurst Site and a tender plate. The Georgia Peach Lemonade was SUPER sugary it kinda made me feel sick after. My husband got the chicken plate and fries. Fries weren't bad but the chicken was dry. Like I said, it's a nice little event but they should probably do a Friday and then add some more trucks. There was suppose to be live music but I didn't hear or see anything.
