There are a few benches were you can come have a meal or just chill. It is also right in front of a school so safety is always a priority. I like the park because they have recently remodeled everything including the tennis courts. Only downfall is there are no trees for coverage on the courts so when it is really hot you need to bring a lot of water. For the most part the park is always quiet. Only con is if you come play tennis with a family you could run into high school teens smoking pot in the back bench. They literally don't care if you see them nor do they try to hide it. I have no problem with it. However if you are against it or with younger kids/family that would be the only con I have for the park.

Bear in mind that the playground is very close to the street so supervision of children is needed. It also neighbors a school so is likely much quieter in the summer than when school is in session.

It's smallish but clean and the lady behind the info desk was helpful and pleasant. This Rec center is right behind the Timberglen branch of the Dallas Public Library. Plenty of free parking at the center and for the adjacent Timberglen Park area.

We also got accused of sneaking people into the back gyms. We are 16, and despite the fact that people under 16 were in the back it doesn't mean that WE snuck them in. Rather than yelling at us, they should have sorted out the situation in a calm way. We have memberships to this place, and pay a lot of money just to get treated like this?? We tried to explain, but we were threatened to be kicked out if we didn't listen to them. Please fix this, and hire more reasonable people. There's no reason for that lady to risk a heart attack just because of the fact that some younger kids are in a gym. (Who are NOT associated with us)
