As our GPS was leading us down Queen st, I thought we were lost because it was tucked back off the street a bit. So pulling in and entering, I was not expecting to experience such a wonderful aroma from all the fresh baking of muffins, cookies, pies and etc. And the coffee was excellent and the atmosphere in the sitting area was very comfortable and warm. And the prices were very reasonable. The staff incredibly friendly and warm. We have visited here many times and our experience is the same as the first time we visited.

It's small and easy to miss, but don't. The ice cream is fresh and delicious. No DQ slush here, but actual ice cream from Hershey. Yum. Small, comfortable, a place to spend a little time chatting or reading the news of the day. A county park is being built across the road, so I suspect the foot traffic here will skyrocket in the next couple years. And I hope it does. This little business is a keeper and deserves success. And the meals came looking just like the pics. The owner and grill master prepared our meals and his wife was our waitress. The bbq sauce is made in house, We tried both the pork and beef rib. Portions were huge. Two hungry people could have shared one of the dinners. We saw the sandwiches. They were also full of meat and according to a fellow customer nearby, delicious, the meat is always tender, never dry.. we started with the nachos. Normally I don't like non traditional bar type nachos, but I ate at least half the order: it had pulled pork, cheese, bbq sauce, and yes, baked beans. . Never thought I'd like baked beans on a nachos, but it worked. each nachos chip was loaded. We did go back a second time the next day for lunch with a friend. She'd never been here before, but liked it and said her dad and brother would love it. She could only finish half beef rib meal. The sides were good, they are in the process of changing the menu a little. This is not a town that likes very spicy food, so you had to request heat. The Mexican corn needed a boost Mexican chilli powder, but it's catered to local tastes. It was good, I'd order again. Home made baked beans. Very good. We enjoyed the fries, but wish we had changed them out for something more exotic on the sides menu. Would we return, we did, ordered the same thing all over again and still enjoyed it. Wished the cook but as many baked beans on the nachos. Maybe request more because it is good. All I can say is, you gotta eat here, even if you are travelling along the 401. It's worth the detour up to Chatham for the restaurant.

Located on Erie Street S., it's one of the last few restaurants you will see as you head out of town. Their menu ranges from breakfast items to soups, burgers, and wraps; your regular diner food. I always opt for their omelette breakfast meals (mushroom & cheese or vegetarian) or if i'm there for lunch, I will get their fish burger or chicken burger. Their food is good value for the price you pay and i absolutely love their fries. The staff here are friendly and very attentive and quick. The restaurant is very diner-esque and you really get that small town vibe from it. If they had a patio, I would probably be here every weekend. It has become a go-to amongst friends of mine and we always choose to come here for breakfast on weekends. Overall, it's a great restaurant if you want to stop for a quick bite to eat or if you're in the mood for some diner food. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!

I had heard…read moreabout this place on social media for so long but looked at the length of time it would take to get here, it is quite far for us. But after seeing the Japanese month lineup, I hopped into the car and drove over here. It was so worth it. The place is gorgeous. I love the different types of decor, they had the Japanese culture on display, along with French accents and an homage to Remy in Ratatouille along with an adorable playroom for children. I loved the sugar blown sculpture and along with all of the details to make this place transport you to a cafe in Europe. The people here were nice and helpful. There was a steady stream of people coming in the middle of the week. Product was flying out of the displays, some items were being replenished while others were selling out. I bought so many things, I went to the register three separate times. We started with two drinks. I got the sparkling water refresher. It could have used a little more syrup, but that's okay. My child had an iced coffee drink that she enjoyed. I scored my favorite focaccia mortadella sandwich that I must order every time I see it at a restaurant, and it was quite dreamy. I love for those sandwiches. It was so huge, I only ate half. My child had a marry-me chicken croissant square that was very nice. She also had a fresh berry stuffed croissant that tasted very fresh and refreshing. I was dreaming of a chestnut mount blanc and the one they made was identical to food in an anime and it was so lovely and delicious. I have always wanted to eat food found in an animated series, and the food here is that artistic. We took home a bunch of food as well. For the other child, I got the Gudetama guava matcha cream puff that was both adorable and refreshingly delicious. One child got the double cherry dessert is was dreamy. We also got the hojicha miso Zen garden tiramisu. The chocolate had such a satisfying crunch and the inside was creamy and perfect. I was craving a cinnamon roll. I was thinking of trying Cinnabun but it was such a good choice to come here instead. Their bun was huge, first of all, a great price, second, and third so fresh and delicious, it seems like a must order item. I got the frosted one but I would like to try the caramel one next time. They also have so many adorable gift for sale, it was all very enticing. And I love the window to see the chefs hard at work. This place is an adventure worth taking over and over again, I cannot wait to return.
