This place is by far the worst bodyshop I've ever deal with, my car supposed to be there for a 5…read moreday repair and took 2 months and 6 days to complete, many and very poor excuses during repair, the repair was "ok" but they used after market "Taiwan crap" parts and when I asked if they used oem parts, the manager told me, the did. LIE, the only reason I put 1 star is because it's the lowest you can give, but technically they should be negative 3. I used my 30 day allowance rental car from my insurance and they declined to give a rental car for the remaining time they were taking, until 3 weeks later I threaten to tow my car out this shop, then they gave me a car and it was then when the sense of urgency to finish my car began, to this day they still owe me a grill because the one they used is the wrong one. My vehicle has led light bulbs and was told they all failed, so they installed regular light bulbs. I asked for my old bulbs and installed them myself and came to find out that the poor quality technician couldn't figure out how to install a bulb, THEY WORKED just fine. Please save your time and money going elsewhere.

The adjuster who estimated the damage was clear and concise as to what I should expect. The estimate was lower than the one I had gotten on my own and that surprised me. I was assured the work would be top notch. Flash forward, one week and the car was done. They repaired the damage and also buffed out the dings and scratches from normal use. They cleaned my car with attachments I obviously don't have. The car looks new! I could not be happier with the end result. I am very happy with the job they did and will recommend them happily to anybody. Great job team JD Harris ... you're now on my favorites list!

The owner personally spoke to me and walked me through the whole process and put me completely at ease. My Jeep looks absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend anyone to visit this shop if the situation ever arises that you need a collision repair specialist. I truly appreciate the hospitality provided by everyone at Eastside Collision.

I was in a minor accident and needed some front end repairs done. I own a 2021 Hyundai Kona. I…read moredecided to not go through my insurance because of the potential increase in premiums so I was paying out of pocket. I sought 3 different repair quotes and decided to use Eastside Collision (based on positive reviews here on Google). The quote was dated 2/7/22 and, as a teacher, I decided to have the work completed during my spring break (3/21-3/25) so that I would not have to pay for a rental car as I was going to be out of town anyways. The original quote ($1103.14) included them replacing 3 parts on the front end as well as painting that would be required. I wanted everything to be replaced because I have a car that is not even one year old. In order for them to proceed they required that I pay 1/2 and they would order the parts so on 2/9/22 I called Sheila and paid $570.87 so that they would proceed with ordering the parts. Done. A few weeks later I decided to follow up to make sure that, due to COVID and possible supply chain issues, the parts were in fact in and would be there when I brought my car in. Well, to my dismay, after speaking with Robert (I'll speak of him later), the parts had never been ordered and somehow it got "missed" (this should have been my first red flag). Thankfully I had called and they were then able to "locate my file" and proceed with ordering the needed parts. I dropped off my car on 3/19/22 and I was planning on paying the additional portion over the phone and picking up my car on our way back in the following weekend. I called Robert mid week to see how things were progressing. It was at this time that Robert proceeded to tell me that "we had a problem". I will not go into all of the details of the call however the most important points to me were the following: 1). He told me that he in fact he ordered the wrong part and that the front bumper (which was cracked all the way across was going to be "repaired" instead of replaced) 2). He had not called me prior to discuss this change. He just made this decision. 3). I had paid for parts thinking that I was going to come back to all new parts; not a mended version. 4). He also explained that in the "fine print" on my quote that it states something to the effect of "this is an estimate and not guaranteed". (please see the copies of the quotes attached. nowhere does it say this). 5). I was trying to understand what he was telling me with where he had gone wrong with the ordering of the incorrect parts, since I am not the expert and he is, but instead of having patience and explaining things to me he decided that hanging up on me was his best option. I never once got upset with him during this conversation. I decided that calling him back would prove fruitless so I waited and called the following afternoon and spoke with Jeremy who was able to explain where things went wrong on their end and what they had decided to do. Jeremy told me that I would never even be able to see the repair and that it "looks brand new" (key point being I had paid for a NEW bumper..not a mended one) 6). During the conversation with Robert he had explained that in order to replace the bumper, that was supposedly included in the original quote, would cost an additional $655. Once I realized the gravity of the situation I decided to not pay the balance and to pick up my car the following Monday so that I could see the repairs prior to paying. When I arrived at the body shop I walked to the front of the car and immediately noticed the "repair" to the bumper and mentioned it to Robert. His comment was "it looked perfect until they went to snapped the bumper back on and when they did that portion creased". I was so put out at this point that I simply paid and left. It wasn't until the next day, when I was getting in my car, that I noticed that the front wheelhouse trim portion that they had painted didn't match my existing back trim. Robert told me to do it correctly that I would have to pay an additional $700+. BEWARE!

AVOID THIS MAACO - Quality Has Hit Rock Bottom! After years…read moreof taking my dealership's cars to this Maaco, I finally hit my breaking point. The disaster they made of my 2014 GL450 was the last straw. I initially brought the SUV in for a simple spot paint job--just base and clear. When they said it was ready, I showed up only to find the color was completely off, nowhere near a match! I refused to accept the work and asked them to fix it. Instead of correcting the issue properly, someone at Maaco decided to paint the entire SUV (except the roof) without even telling me! The second time I went to pick it up, I immediately noticed they removed the deck lid badges but didn't even clean off the old 3M tape--just painted right over it! Overspray was everywhere--on the trim, glass, and basically any surface you can imagine. Worse yet, they didn't apply enough paint or clear coat, so the old color was still showing through. When I confronted the office staff, they admitted they painted the whole vehicle (again, without my consent) because they were "trying to color match." Still trying to be reasonable, I asked them to fix it. The third time I went to pick up the SUV, it was still a disaster. The bumper--where they originally messed up--was never fixed, and somehow, they added even more overspray! At this point, I spoke with Peter in the office, only to be told they were done working on my car because I had said I wouldn't bring them more business (gee, I wonder why?). Let's break this down: * Three trips, and the car still wasn't right. * They painted the whole SUV without my permission. * Overspray everywhere--trim, glass, tires, lights. * Parts removed and reinstalled poorly. * Not enough paint or clear coat, leaving the old color visible. * False promises of "we'll do better next time"--they never did. Oh, and the best part? I found a Maaco sign-off sheet stating my car was "detailed." The reality? Sanding dust was all over the interior. Now, I'm stuck spending hundreds of dollars replacing trim and other parts that should never have been painted in the first place. But hey, at least Maaco is worried about their bottom line, right? If you value your car, your money, and your time, stay far away from this Maaco, as well as the Spartanburg and Greenville locations (same owner). Their employee turnover is through the roof, and their work is only getting worse. I should have learned my lesson sooner instead of believing their constant empty promises. Save yourself the nightmare. Take your car somewhere else!
