I almost drove 400 miles because I thought a car was damage-free. However, in the walk-around video, I saw damage. Then in other pictures, I saw a football-sized dent they had tried to pop out. I picked up a newer Ram 2500 Cummins here yesterday. I have to say, it was the fastest vehicle purchase I've had my whole life. We did have to split it up into two days because I used my own bank (lemme tell ya though...the finance manager doesn't hide the fact he was mad about that during the whole signing process...I could've taken my ~70k somewhere else so that was annoying but whatever :) ). But day one, we're were there for no more than 30 minutes, including test drive, day two at pick up, maybe 15 minutes? Asiah was our sales guy and he was amazing- super friendly, humorous, and stayed on top of things. Josh was kind and helpful too, so was anyone we interacted with...except that bitter finance guy, haha. I'm not thrilled there isn't at least a 30-day dealership warranty but, is what is it. Evan and Noah were over and above giving me excellent service and need to be recognized as well as the conscience mechanic who worked on my Ford mustang ecoboost premium 2025. I had a recall that should have been all day, but when I told them I needed to wait for the repair, I was taken care of so quickly, my all day wait was only a few short hours, drinking coffee and had a snack, and was greeted by every employee who needed to walk near the waiting area. My review is mainly because they told us they did not run our credit but when we left, they had ran it a couple times !!! So annoying. I took my car in for body work after the hurricane. I was in out of the shop from December to April with leaks and electrical problems caused by the leaks. This is July, I still have a leak and electrical issues they say are unrelated to the leaks. But it's the same issues I had with the leaks. I do t recommend their service. read more

I went to get a full maintenance inspection done in my truck due to it having 70,000 miles but also because my check engine light was on. I was referred to the Quick lane center where I proceeded to spend $2200 on recommended repairs. Upon leaving, I still had the check engine light on and was told that I would need to go to the service center and pay $165 to have it DIAGNOSED? Why could that not have been included in the all points inspection and $2200 in maintenance? The fact that these 2 CENTERS (Service and Quick lane) RUN AS INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES, does NOT benefit the customer. It is actually a detriment to the customer to have to pay twice for what other service centers do in one location. read more

Brought my 2018 Transit 150 in, the service department charged me $600 for a transmission service and new battery. When I picked up the vehicle the transmission was slipping and driving irregular. Stay away!! Car buying experience was pretty great. Don't expect much after the fact even, with warranties. Dustin the service manager and Evan are the worst I have ever encountered. As a women I couldn't even go there my husband had to take my car for all the services. They will laugh at you on the phone And degrade you. Owner will not take accountability for how the employees are treating people when I could not possibly work with Dustin. My bronco has had so many issues and I was told my window regulator wasn't under warranty (the latest issue) but it's interesting the warranty guy said it was. I purchased a used 2021 Mustang Mach 1 with handling package from D&D Motors initiating the process about 4 weeks ago. The process itself went ok until I took delivery of the vehicle and discovered a part from the Handling Package was missing. I brought this to their attention multiple times and their General Sales Manager, Steve at first said it wasn't included and was only supposed to be on the rear. Yesterday I decided to call Steve again and he called me back with their Service Director. I sent an email to the service director that I'd previously sent to Monte which included the part number and the link to where I'd independently purchased it myself. In the email I said at this point, I would appreciate a check cut for the part and would be happy to provided an invoice for the amount from where I purchased it. Steve called me today and said the best he could do was order the part at dealer cost which he said was $400-something... He at no point tried to actually hear what was being said, understand it, ask questions for any clarification nor do any *real* research of his own. He said he'd done everything he can and they bent over backwards doing everything they could for me which is absolutely not true. I pointed out the front spring spacers were still in the vehicle which are supposed to be removed on original delivery of the vehicle to the original dealer. This proves D&D did not even inspect this vehicle with any sort of detail when they accepted trade in of it. When it comes to dealerships, especially with used vehicles, the details are what matters and they have taken zero responsibility in that aspect, not made any effort to make things right which would've been simply cutting me a check for a $300 part. Steve has shown he's lazy and just wants to wash his hands of any issue like this so he can get back to doing whatever it is he does rather than doing the right thing. To make things worse he had to audacity to say that I was the one being unprofessional due to saying I would write a review about this experience when I am being completely objective in explaining the happenings of what went on and gave him a chance to make things right. He went so far as to say I'd still probably write a bad review even if he did cut a check for it to which I said, "No I would not, that's what I want and what I've been asking for." Then when I said that, he didn't even offer to... Reviewing a business based on what actually happened is NOT unprofessional and trying to say that it was is beyond petty (and unprofessional on his part). Sorry to say, but if you don't like people putting out there what happened and your actions and words, then you should have made better choices to work with them in order to prevent that from happening. I would encourage Ford Corporates to investigate this matter and for them and/or D&D Motors to look into this and replacing their General Sales Manager as he is clearly not customer and detail focused. Monte in finance was generally great and I have zero issues with him. Overall I'm giving the dealership a 3/5 because of Steve. Steve himself I would rate a 2 or 2.5/5 at best. His general attitude is one of not having enough time for the details and generally just not caring. I've worked with an out of state dealership before (from VA) and they were absolutely wonderful. Had an issue with a part (similarly a $300-400 part) and they ordered one through Ford and shipped it to my dealer with zero hesitation. THAT is how things should be handled. He's willing to sacrifice dealership reputation over $300 which will likely cost them much more than that in the long run. Dealerships and their employees *should* know more about the cars they're selling than their customers do, but this clearly is not the case here or likely in general. read more

We bought my mom a brand new focus in December 2017. She had the car five months and the radio and blue tooth stopped working. She made an appointment with the service department to have it fixed. Our experience with the service department has been horrible! The first service appointment they let her sit in the waiting room for hours. This is a brand new car and any other dealership would have offered another vehicle to drive, especially when the appointment is going to take a better part of the day. We had to deal with this service department four times. It is obvious Jason doesn't care about his customers and all the manager Tim does is apologize. Bought a 2018 F-150 and it was fairly painless as far as car buying goes. Went in to buy used but with rebates & incentives the new one was a better deal. Mark my salesman was great. Finance guy, sorry can't remember his name, was pleasant. He of course tried to sell me protection packages, GAP insurance & an extended warranty all of which I declined. I noticed my APR seemed high and he "found" a coupon that lowered my interest 2% and lowered the Ford extended warranty by half. Pre delivery cleanup was spotty, but it was 5:00 on a Saturday so I get that. Overall 4 stars read more

Will never go back. Took vehicle in on Thursday at noon and was told they'd look at Friday morning and call us. No call so at 2pm called them. They needed to order a part that would be in on Monday if express shipped (we would pay $20 extra for this and agreed.). Vehicle would be ready Monday. Monday no call. Monday late afternoon called them and the part had not arrived. Maybe tomorrow. Finally ready at 6 pm Tuesday. I refused to pay the express ship fee and finally they agreed. Also they tried to sell us a new battery. Said it had only 51% life left. We took the vehicle to two different places and had battery tested. 87% and 88% life left. They are not only incompetent and very poor communicators but also crooked. Never again. read more

I called the Service Dept. to get my 2011 Ford Escape in for service as we were having major brake issues and not being able to safely drive it. After being put on hold and disconnected 3 times I finally got to talk to the service department. I was told they could not get the car in for service until the second week in October, 6 weeks off. They told me if I needed the repair completed before that time I need to take it someplace else. I called Benson Ford in Easley and they got it in the next day, car had to be trailered to them because of the brake problems. D and D Ford has lost my business, it's something when they tell to go to the competitor. Looking to buy a new pickup this year when stock is available but it won't be D and D Ford. read more

Taking advantage of young women My daughter scheduled an appointment online for oil change and tire rotation for Saturday 06/11 at 9am. When she arrived for the appointment, Dustin told her they were too busy and she would have to reschedule for another day although they were steady working on other people's cars. When my daughter returned home and let me know what had transpired, it seemed apparent that they deliberately shrugged her off because she was young, by herself, and wouldn't say anything. I called the dealership and the girl answering the phone seemed oblivious. She did apologize and said the service manager would contact me the following Monday. Never heard from him. We challenge our daughter to be independent and responsible for things like proper maintenance of her vehicle, but when she encounters people like the ones working at D&D, who take advantage of her because she's young and won't say anything, it's very disappointing. They offer discounts on routine maintenance and an extended transmission warranty if that service is done in their shop. I received a mailer noting my vehicle was probably due for an oil change. It included a coupon for the service at $39.95, which was less than the prior maintenance. I had intended to go to another nearby Ford dealer, but with the better price selected this agency. When I got there I was informed the coupon did not apply as they used a more expensive oil for my vehicle and it would be and additional $12.00. I was disappointed in that this was not clarified in the advertisement. I made my appointment on line (which seemed to surprise them). (I suggest making appointments by phone and getting a specific price commitment in advance). The staff are pleasant, and the waiting area for basic maintenance service is reasonably decent. I would never buy or service a FORD vehicle from this DEALER ship. I have 2015 f150 and I have a lower control arm that has wobbled out an whole on both side of the frame that the bolt attaches to. Picture at bottom of post. They are telling me it's going to cost to fix it. They are the only ones that have touch that part and they are not standing behind it. Then FORD corporate is telling me since the dealership has mad this issue come up that they are not going to get involved. For 1. The dealerships are privately owned. 2. That it's not a covered part. While the cause of the problem with my old F150 will forever be a mystery, Skip Davenport personally responded to my letter (and Facebook posts) about the problem. He addressed my concerns about the brake job and helped with the cost of both repairs. I believe this is more than fair, and I appreciate Mr. Davenport's efforts at maintaining the loyalty of a very long-time customer. I bought a new 2014 Ford F150 super crew cab. The truck itself is a good truck so far. I was also talked into purchasing the "Auto Butler" process to protect the paint. The salesman stated that with this package it is like taking your vehicle to a detail shop every 6 months.(and I had a witness!) The paperwork for this package states that it includes bug removal, vacuuming, and cleaning windows along with a car wash which I pay $15.00 for. Due to the fact that the word 'detail' was only verbal by the salesman they do not clean the door jams or in D&D motors case not much of anything. My latest experience was the worst. The truck was barely vacuumed and the windows were cleaner when I brought it to be serviced than when I picked up the truck. I was also told they don't do bug removal , however it is clearly stated on the notice card that is sent to me that it does. The windows look as if they used a wet dirty rag and wiped the windows which are now terribly streaked and impossible to drive safely into the sun!! Do your selves a favor and NEVER purchase this "Auto Butler "process and take your vehicle to a reputable detail shop. I could get better results by paying a neighborhood kid a few dollars! They took the time to answer my questions, showed me only cars that were within my price range and with what I was after. The sales manager tried to overcharge me on my X-Plan purchase. They only got the right price and issued me a "refund" check after I threatened to ask Ford if I was charged correctly. I had to return factory roof crossbars that did not fit with my bike rack. They left out 8 screws after removing the rack. They told me repeatedly that they would replace the screws, but it is 4 months later and I still have open holes where the screws should be. read more
