Nearly ten years ago I set off on a quest to find the best donut outside metro area. Theresa's was one of my favorites. Now it is one of the few left standing. It's a simple shop with cute seasonal decor in the window. A good selection of breads donuts and other pastries with customers. You can see them being made fresh every day. I enjoyed a simple, glazed doughnut, but there is much more on offer. Please stop in and enjoy if you're nearby. Bakery shops like this a part of our heritage and we need to see them stay open.

We booked a wedding to be catered (and secured the date with a deposit)…read more We received the catering menu options by email - 2 attachments were email showing options and pricing. When we contacted both the catering manager and the owner, to discuss the details of the food we wanted, we were told one of the menus they provided was not an option. (The menu that we wanted to use). The owner was extremely unprofessional. She openly admitted she had made a mistake by sending the menu and "learned her lesson". When I then asked about using my deposit toward salads for the wedding, grooms supper or if I could use it for a future graduation party, I was rudely told NO. AND she would not reimburse my deposit, even tho she admitted that she was at fault. They handled this situation unprofessionally and in a rude manner. I would never trust Tutti Fruitti for a catering event.

Prices are so reasonable, clerks are so friendly.....its a local hangout for various groups that play games for coffee and spend the day...but get there early cause they run out sometimes The Long John's are their speciality.

When I trick my friends into coming back to South Dakota with me, Zem's is a must stop. My friends walk in and say, "what the hell is this shit." And then, one bite of a Long John and they are hooked. Next thing I know they are munching down donut holes and blueberry fritters. And for 75 cents a pop you can afford to become obese and enjoy every bite of it. It should be mentioned that Zem's is in a grocery store. And old farmers love this place as much as I do, perhaps more. The tables are reserved every hour of the day for different groups of farmers to come in, eat rolls, drink coffee, and roll dice.
