I almost never give 5 star reviews. The manager is terrific. They have combo specials during the week. $6 regular jumbo pretzel. Mid-day One sauce One drink I went 3 times Christmas shopping. Rarely at the mall. The young man helping me third time was so polite. When he didn't know the answer, the manager came over to me 3 times and answered my question. That is impressive. He heard my question. He was super busy doing stuff. But he gave another ounce of his energy to deliver. This place is 5 stars. Pretzel hot Sauce delicious Cold drink with refills . . . At least at Christmas shopping time. You can't eat at Wendy's or Taco Bell or Dairy Queen for less than $11.00. Try it. You will be happy you discovered it at the Mall. read more

I don't come to this location often because we have a Ben's Soft Pretzel in town now and it's the only pretzel place local to me, so when I travel I typically go to places I can't get near me. I decided to come here during a recent trip to the mall anyways because I prefer their pretzel dogs to other spots. Not only is there an original pretzel dog but they also have one with everything bagel seasoning on top and one with jalapeños on top. All three options are delicious in my opinion. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting and I would definitely recommend coming by. read more

Most of the employees there are rude and never have a smile on their face and talk to you in a very rude and unprofessional way. Won't be coming back unless they get new employees or teach the ones that are already working their how to treat people/customers the right way! read more

My dad LOVES pretzels. Where my parents live they don't have a pretzel place, so every time they come to visit me, this is the first place my dad wants to go. And he isn't satisfied with just going once, he needs to come here at least twice (preferably more) during his stay. These pretzels are FRESH! They make the pretzels on site. I mean you can literally watch them make it. They have two base pretzels (salted and unsalted) and you can pick the toppings or flavors you want them to put on it. They also have pretzel dogs and pizza. If you're going to get the pizza just know they cook them to order so you'll have to wait about 20 minutes. They also have lemonade. I personally recommend getting a pretzel meal. That way you can get a pretzel, a drink, and a dipping sauce. There's usually always a line here, but don't worry it moves through really quick. Thank you Ben's Pretzels for restoring my faith in humanity and for those gosh, darn delicious pretzels. I tried these pretzels for the first time last year at a Notre Dame football game and they have haunted me ever since. We go to the ND hockey games more often and for some sick reason they only offer those generic frozen pretzels(that no longer have a hold on me). So after some audible complaints to anyone that would listen, a family member let me know that I could drive to the near by mall and they have the pretzels there....excellent. We drove over 2 hours to make it to South Bend and the only thing on my mind was getting my paws on one- lets be honest- two of these pillowy delicious Amish creations. We were running late to the game- but my husband wouldn't try to skip this important stop on today's schedule, especially against his hormonal, starving wife. We trek through the mall, and finally find what we've been waiting for. We order flavors on our pretzels, but were informed that we actually sprinkle our own on... No problem. That is until I go to sprinkle some on and it's not really sticking... But I forge through sprinkle another load on and we start walking back through the mall to our car. I am shoveling the pretzel in my mouth and I was disappointed. Did I just build this up in my head too much? This isn't like the other one I had...I share my feelings with my husband and I start getting pretty upset on how not great this was. We get back to the car and I notice on the wrapper that if you are not satisfied to bring back your pretzel- they wanted to guarantee me a great pretzel experience. And for the sake of my marriage I decided to go back (by myself-husband too embarrassed and sick of me). I explained to the nice gentlemen- pretty much my life story surrounding today's pretzel experience and that the pretzel wasn't what I expected and probably needed an extra brush of butter so that toppings stick. They were super nice, gave me two new pretzels with extra butter and extra salt (upon my request). I sprinkle on some extra flavors (sour cream onion and cinnamon sugar) and just looking at these new pretzels I knew I made the right decision by coming back and not just writing a sad Yelp review. It was heavenly. So freakin' good. Highly recommend you stop and get one...even if you live 2 hours away. read more

Bens serves top quality pretzels. Nothing at Bens is processed or manufactured. The bread is baked to perfection the cheese they serve complements the bread (unlike other pretzel shops I've been to), and they have a nice selection of pretzels to choose from. Their menu is semi-basic..... but in life sometimes the best things are simple. Also their pretzel bread is nice and soft and has the perfect texture, and the right amount of salt. This is one of my favorite pretzel shops to go to. I just wish they had more locations around town. read more

Pretzel was fresh, but maybe your register staff should not be digging into their purse searching for a half smoked BLACK AND MILD. I seriously couldn't believe my eyes, and then she placed it on a back counter and didn't even wash her hands. I love pretzels but I won't be back. read more

A good Pretzel at a decent price. What more to say? If you are a pretzel snob it is way better than a concession stand pretzel and not quite as good as Jo Jo's, but nonetheless a good pretzel when you need your pretzel fix. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this pretzel shop with the expectation of eating some warm pretzel with nacho cheese. First, one worker told us that plain pretzel with no salt would take ten minutes and tried to convince us to get the one with the salt but we prefer no salt cause it's too salty so I said we would come back. Approximately ten minutes later we came back and the cashier said they didn't have any or in the oven and I told her well the other worker told us it would be ready in ten. So she said she will put the plain pretzels in the oven. I was also excited to use the coupon I had for buy one get one free. I gave her my coupon and paid her and I did not take my receipt. Well another ten minutes later when my boyfriend picked up the pretzel I became very heated because there's two cheeses and ONE pretzel when I had already gave her my coupon!!!!! I anticipated to have TWO pretzels. I trusted them that's why I didn't care to look at the receipt. It was a total disappointment and all I can say is... I was very dissatisfied! read more
