There's one in particular who is the sweetest thing you could ever see she is so kind and polite. It makes my day just to go in there and order some pie. Let's talk about the pie. I have bought whole pies and I've bought slices of pies consistently. They all been good. I have never had one issue whatsoever with anything I've ordered. I will look nowhere else for pie because they make the Best Buy whether you want a French silk or a Keylime pie or a low sugar apple or cherry. This is the place consistently good every single time and when I walk in by pi, I see that the dining room is always full. That means they're doing a great job and people are happy.

5/5 Stars - Unmatched Pies and Cherished Memories Bakers…read moreSquare will always hold a special place in my heart. Their pies are truly phenomenal--especially around the holidays when picking up a fresh, delicious pie makes hosting so much easier. While it's disappointing that so many Illinois locations (like the one in Orland) have closed, leaving the closest spot across the border in Indiana, I'm so grateful for the years of great food and memories. Bakers Square offers the best pie experience around, and I truly wish they would open more locations again. Highly recommended!

Their pizza is consistently well made. I'm a big fan of thin crust spinach…read more Their sauce is sweet and the pizza texture is absolutely awesome. It's crunchy and chewy together. Sometimes the pizza can be salty but the sauce complements that fact. I like their pasta and meatballs and their stuffed ravioli. They are all well made like home cooked food. We have never had any issues with their wait staff. We had one issue in like 20 years of eating at Aurelio's but I blame the specific girl answering the phone. I called and asked what time they closed. For example, they closed at 10 let's say. I called at like 9:35. The girl said they close at 9:45 and didn't want to take the order. So I took my cue and didn't place an order. I had my wife call next and order without any issue. Come to find out when we got there that they closed at 10.

There is a specific carry-out door to use for this. That was easy to find and use. The food was decent - although we ordered marinara and alfredo sauces with our ravioli and only received the alfredo. It was still decent. The pizza is good, not excellent, but good. The sausage was made of chunks and had a good taste. The cheese is very good and this pizza has a crunch and I would go again. For the ravioli - the menu says: "Four-Cheese Toasted Ravioli Eight crispy breaded ravioli's, stuffed with our four-cheese blend. Served with your choice of dipping sauce." We ordered two orders of the four-cheese, and normally that would be 16 total...but for some reason we only received 12 total. I assumed two orders would be 8 x 2 = 16? For that reason and the missing marinara sauce I deducted a star. It's not like they were crazy busy on Monday night.

I did add mushrooms to mine, but actually wished I didn't. Overall it's beefy, cheesy and gooey. Bread is great too. I've had their turkey 9 inch sub sandwich the way they recommend it and it was really good and filling. Almost like a Jersey Mikes but not as juicy. Lastly, if you want more meat, get the make your own option and you can add two or more meats. I did this the second time around and found it was a lot more food. Good for getting the 6 inch and splitting it. For the fries - I like them in the bag - and the. You can dip them. If you order with mild sauce they put it on the fries, which is not bad at all, but makes them more soggy. This place rocks! I need to try the Italian ice next time I dine in.
