What's left of my chocolate chip cookie and latte
Kelleigh M.

Oh Ben's cookies. How I wish you were in the states. We ate at Ben's cookies 2x while in England. Once while in London and I ordered the classic chocolate chip cookie and the second time while in Bath I ordered the coconut cookie with vanilla ice cream. Both times the cookies were fantastic. Nice and gooey in the middle and fresh right out of the oven. Soo good!

Cozy, little cookie shop located in a nice area on the right side of Regent Street. I can really recommend the cookie and ice cream combo. Especially the cookie and cream ice cream is wonderful. You can get a bit confused when ordering cookie with cookie and cream ice cream, though. Don't lose your tongue! The milk chocolate cookie I tried was warm, fresh and gooey, right from the oven. Delicious! The employees are really friendly and welcoming. When I was unsure and ended up with ordering vanilla ice cream, she told me that the cookie and cream flavour was better. Thank you! And her smile when I brought my whole family back to buy more was priceless. They really appreciate their customers. Be careful with your spoon though, mine broke.

Wonderful cookies! Absolutely huge! They are definitely more on the cake/soft/pillowy side and very thick! I got the classic milk chocolate and also the chocolate cookie with white chocolate. Both of them were divine though my favorite was the milk chocolate. The "chips" are more like discs of chocolate really, which is amazing but the only thing I don't like about it is that it is not evenly distributed throughout the cookie as say chocolate chips would be. Small caveat. Also got a scoop of the mint chip ice cream as well as cookies and cream. Both were nice/fairly average. The mint one wasn't that great though and kind of tasted freezer burned. Would definitely come back for the cookies!!

OK I'll admit - Ben's cookies really grow on you. While I wasn't that interested at first, now I find them pretty damn delicious. Three words - dark chocolate chunk.

Double chocolate - yum!!

Amazing cookies!! My favorite is the double chocolate, which I find difficult to deviate from. I missed these cookies dearly whilst living abroad. The chocolate chips are always melted and you can just tear the cookie apart. Just how I like them! They offer lots of amazing flavors and also ice cream. Prices are based on the weight of your cookie.

After seeing this place all over social media, I had to try it. I was expecting a queue but was…read morelucky that when I arrived there were only a couple of people in there. Firstly there are different options for a base- a cookie, brownie, doughnut or baklava. Then you choose your ice cream and toppings. I decided to go for the brownie topped with lotus biscuits and flake, and chocolate ice cream. It was really tasty and enjoyable. The portion isn't massive but is a decent enough size. I didn't think it was necessarily worth £7.30 though, which after adding the toppings is the price mine came to. So I do not think it is value for money, but maybe more attractive as a place to grab something and post it all over Instagram! They have got it right, with pink walls, cool seating and novelty mirrors on the walls. I did enjoy the brownie but now I wish I had tried the baklava as it would have been good to try something different that you can't necessarily get everywhere with these toppings. So now I kind of want to return just to try that! Whereas otherwise I probably wouldn't feel a need to return now that I've tried it. I wouldn't say the place was set up for an influx of customers either, considering how much it has been posted/advertised everywhere on social media. There was just one member of staff there when I went (Sunday afternoon) and so she took the orders and payment and then went and prepared the ice cream, so had there been a queue there might have been quite a wait. Like I said, I might go back to try the baklava if in the area, but this is likely somewhere that people visit for a media post and then don't return. The price point is too high in my opinion for regular customers.

I have an intense love of financiers, so when I spotted financiers here I had to try them. I'm so…read moreglad I did because the ones I've had before (that led to my love of them) ultimately paled in comparison to the ones I had her. I purchased the caramel, framboise, and chocolate ones. Normally I wouldn't have gotten the chocolate one (it had mini chocolate chips) just because I didn't think the texture you work well, but because it is a chocolatier it made sense to at least try it. Ultimately, I do think the caramel and framboise options were the winners. They were delicious and moist and just beautiful. Don't get me wrong: I would never turn down the chocolate one, but when I go back I'll be going for the options (and possibly trying new ones).

This review is just for the eclairs - they are the best eclairs I've had in my life and I've even…read moreeaten eclairs in France where I normally live. The quality of the ingredients and chocolate are exquisite, but the downside (where I took off a star) is that they are on the small side and they are expensive at £5 each. They also sell a variety of chocolates (9 piece boxes, 16 piece boxes, beautiful heart chocolates, or by the unit. You can buy macarons in traditional flavors but my favorite macaron place in the world is Pierre Herme and they have more unique flavors there. We tried the chocolate eclair and the hazelnut one. Neither was overly sweet - it was just right. The texture of the cream was perfect too - it was airy, light, tasted fresh and not artificial, and was not too sweet. The bread part at the bottom was firm - not too hard, not too soft, and not spongy. The chocolate one had a raspberry/chocolate topping with gold flakes and it was just perfect. The hazelnut one was really unique, as I had never had a hazelnut eclair before but I love hazelnut anything. There were little pieces of actual hazelnut, the hazelnut cream was perfect and not artificial-tasting, and there was this powdered sugar crunchy thing on top. The hazelnut was a bit messy to eat/share, since the topping part was harder to break apart, but every bite was amazing. I'd definitely come back here again to eat eclairs. Note that if you want to eat here, they don't really have spoons suitable for eating/sharing - it's more like a small spoon to stir coffee. There's one table outside where you can sit and eat, but there's no seating inside, so don't expect a place where you can hang out and drink tea/coffee and eat your eclair. The eclairs here are fantastic, we came at the end of the day so they didn't have many flavours left, but they typically also have vanilla, salted caramel, and I'm sure a few others that escape my memory (I asked one of the staff what other flavours they typically have). I've overused the word "perfect" in this review, so just go here and eat some eclairs and maybe some chocolates too. I had a praline little egg and it was fantastic, but the eclairs were like nothing I'd ever have. Minus one star for the price, but I guess it's relatively cheap next to all the other expensive stores in Marylebone. Worth the splurge every once in a while and I'll definitely be back.
