The service was quick and friendly. The food and coffee were delicious and I would recommend a return visit when going to Tuscaloosa Alabama. The dinning area was larger than expected with multiple options for seating.

However, the…read morekitchen manager was very rude to staff in front of customers, which is extremely unprofessional and left a sour taste in my day. Today when I came in, my vegetarian friend asked if she could have a small amount of potatoes replace the meat on her eggs benedict, the young man working the register told her yes, put the order in (and he typed things, so I assume he specified it was a substitution). He sent the order to the kitchen and she paid. As I went up to order, a lady came out of the back and lectured him in front of me, my friend, and several customers in line. My friend offered to just have no meat or potatoes (and then to pay an add on charge), but this manager would not let her change her order. She was very rude to him and I'm very disappointed that the management treats their staff that way. The place is nice, but management's treatment of staff in front of customers (especially the customer that ordered the food causing the lecture), was particularly disappointing.

We ordered our bagels and then sat down to wait. The reason for the 4 stars is because we did not get our bagels until 11:05, and with an apartment tour at 11:15, this did not give us much time to enjoy our food. It seemed crazy that it took so long to put cream cheese on a bagel, and I feel like their system for preparation could be improved. Despite having to eat fast, those bagels were phenomenal. They were fresh and coated in the seasoning. Both of use got veggie cream cheese, which was surprisingly light and tasty. Neither of us felt heavy after this meal, which is normal for me when I eat cream cheese. All in all, this place was quite good and I will be back for more. Just remember to either come here early, or to not have immediate plans after the visit.

Ordered the Turkey panini on Asiago Rosemary bagel. The bagel was fresh and stacked with good amount of cheese and meat. Turkey and bacon had a good smoky flavor. It needed a dressing or condiment as the sandwich was a little dry. It was tasty overall, but maybe a little on the pricey side. The other downside was no chips or sides. Definitely need to try it again for breakfast sometime.
