I called them around noon on Feb 5, 2026. He responded and stated he could do the job for $225.00 and would arrive in 20 mins. One hour later, I sent a text to make sure he received my previous text. He confirmed and again, said I will arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived at 2:07 pm. I showed him the two doors with the locks and went about my daily activities. About 30 minutes into his visit, I hear drilling on my front door. When I went to see what he was doing, he had REMOVED both the deadbolt and the doorknob and was DRILLING into my door. At that point, he had drilled a larger hole in my front door and stated that his "foot slipped" in the sawdust and his drill bit dropped carving a significant gap that he said he could cover with a digital locking mechanism. . . At this point, he called someone to come help him with this disaster of a mistake to my front door. This man assisted him with installing a digital lock that was SUPPOSED TO BE BLUETOOTH but was not. He told me that since the major gash in my door was his mistake that he would not charge me for the digital lock since it will cover the gash made in the door. So now I have a much larger button code door lock (see pictures) that still did not cover the mistake in the door. THEN he charges me $280.00 instead of the $225 he initially quoted. The new lock requires batteries - which he did not have, so I had to make a trip to Lowe's for that... just a major cluster. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Keep in mind, all I wanted was the current door locks re-keyed... now I have to buy new double doors from my front entry.

He started drilling out the whole and made it too big. He tried to put his new locket in and it didn't fit (it wasn't even the right kind of lockset - he after the fact told us that he didn't have the correct one). He then sloppily put together the old lock and said that was all he could do and charged us $110. Left us totally hanging and now won't answer or return calls. Had to pay a "real" locksmith $150 to fix the problems this guy created. Run away from this service. Horrible experience.

My uncle and I were seeking a copy of a desk key and at first she discovered that she had no blanks. She mentioned that another company may have it, but I stated to her that we were referred to Rolland. She took the extraordinary step and called the manufacturer of the key. The next day I took the rim with the boot still attached to Rolland Safe. My family has been using Rolland Safe to service our safes for many years and they have always done a tremendous job. If you need to purchase a safe or have a safe serviced in the New Orleans area, this is your first stop. However, I digress. I took my rim with the boot from the Premium Parking lot to Rolland. They removed that boot from my rim in under three minutes and only charged me $6. *Note to EVERYONE. A private lot immobilizing (booting) your private property is illegal. Yes, they can have your car towed off of their property if you are parked illegally or have not paid for parking but they CANNOT immobilize your vehicle. Simply remove the wheel and put it in your trunk, replace with your spare and bring the wheel to Rolland Safe to be removed for $6. If you have a drill you can remove it yourself for free however I like supporting the local economy.
