Dr. Uto: Where Hope Goes to Flatline…read more If you're looking for a doctor who will ignore you in record time, Dr. Uto is the MVP of medical apathy. I scheduled three appointments with him (pro tip: every slot is open, all the time--that's a sign) and each visit was basically a live-action version of being on hold with customer service. My experience: Total face time over three visits? About 20 minutes, if you count him staring at his computer and occasionally remembering I was in the room. Medical advice? A lot of world-class shrugging, half-hearted "I think we're okay," and his all-time favorite catchphrase: "Insurance won't cover it." (Translation: he won't even try to order anything that might help.) My health concerns? Decades of high-risk lung exposure, family history, bad cholesterol, borderline diabetes, low testosterone--Dr. Uto's reaction: "Eh, come back in a year" Want a PET scan? "Insurance won't cover it." Want your A1C checked more than once a year? "Insurance won't cover it." Want a doctor who listens, cares, or does literally anything besides checking boxes? LOL, "insurance won't cover it." The best thing about this office is how easy it is to get an appointment and the check in associate (Brooke) Great job momma! You're the only good thing in that office. Roses for you!! The worst thing is... everything else. If you value your health, time, and dignity, run--don't walk--to literally any other provider. The only thing Dr. Uto's office is good for is teaching you what red flags look like in healthcare. Avoid at all costs. Zero stars if I could.

My experience at this Urgent Care was really great. The front office ladies were so nice when I…read morewalked in and made check in super easy! I had great care from them as well as all the staff! Dr. Megan was so kind, attentive, and actually explained everything to me! I have a lot of medication allergies and she really went above and beyond to communicate and get me meds that would work and be safe for me!

Went in today, sore throat, cough, runny nose, feeling gross for over a week. Waiting room was…read moreempty. My throat hurt so bad that I couldn't talk without pain. The wait was not long, explained to the nurse everything that was going on and that it actually hurt to talk. She wrote everything down and then said she'd send the PA or Dr in. The PA comes in and asks what's going on. I let her know, and she takes notes of everything I'm struggling to say. She does an exam and says ok, I'll review this with Kristi and we'll be back in. Kristi comes in and asks me to explain everything, again. She also does the same exam the first Dr did 20 min ago. I couldn't even say aww when they checked my throat because it hurt so bad. They asked about allergies (I've had typical environmental allergies) but never asked what meds I was currently taking. I was scolded for not taking allergy medicine daily, she said this is how you end up here, blaming my lack of taking allergy meds that my own Dr has never suggested or prescribed. She said she thinks it's presenting viral but wants to do a test, a $125 swab to see what kind of bacteria is growing. If it's viral, how is there bacteria and why would an antibiotic not fix it.  I was ugly crying, in tears because they wanted me to swab for bacteria ($125 is a lot!!) or wait to see if it gets better, even though I had already been sick over a week. She went over a flyer with me that had different OTC meds and was really condescending. My husband has some health issues and I can't get him sick. If it's viral the antibiotic won't work anyway but if it's not, it will and that means I'll be better much sooner and there's less risk of getting him sick. She said she could be persuaded to prescribe one and did. But why did I have to advocate for that? I love this place, whenever I come here, the people are amazing. I've never seen this Dr before and I will not be returning because I don't ever want to go through this again. I left this Urgent Care crying because of how I was treated.

Our son (1 yo) had a double ear infection on a Sunday and they were able to see us within minutes of getting there. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The environment was extremely clean and taken care of. Jen was so friendly and good with our son. Made me feel like she was there for him and making him feel comfortable with being at the doctors office. It was also nice that she herself could empathize with our situation and giving such sound advice. Appreciate the time, friendliness and energy the staff put in on this weekend.

I'm so thankful I found him for myself and more importantly my son. He assured me he will do everything he can to help me out and give the best care he can to my son. As a young mother I really appreciate it and feel more than comfortable with him. If you're looking for a family doctor and you don't choose John Winters you're missing out! Oh the other hand his nurse Lesley is the rudest person I've ever encountered. If I'm correct you should have to like helping people when you enter the medical field and not make the patient feel like a burden. The past few days I've been in excruciating pain and have been seen by two other doctors who unfortunately don't know what's causing my pain. I called Nebraska Medicine eagle run clinic about a half hour ago and was so offended by her attitude I am writing a review... When I explained what was going on to her and told her I've been to two different ERs and had the nastiest tone in her voice saying she didn't know what I was talking about and said she needed records of that. As if my pain isn't real. I'm really considering going somewhere else but I love my doctor. I'm really offended by this nurse. If she wasn't there I would praise this clinic with my whole being. I'm defiantly calling and asking to speak to a manager.

They didn't have the X-Ray machines that Google said they did, but the staff pointed us in the right direction to their location that did. The people behind the desk were very friendly when we told them the situation, and they lamented with us about it. (FYI - it ended up being that his foot was actually broken, once we got the scan! Ah!) Even though we didn't end up becoming patients of this urgent care, we did get to experience the great and helpful attitude of the staff. So I will definitely return here, if we do ever have another urgent care need!

However, when the next two patrons came in she asked them if they'd ever been there before and they had. They sat down and one went right even though I was there first. By the way I had been there before. The only difference in the three of us is I'm a black male and the others were white. In observing this I came very close to confronting her regarding the differential treatment. Sometimes having to even ponder it gets exhausting! Nevertheless, the nurse and PA were both professional and kind. Hopefully my diagnosis is accurate.
