We have used Capitol Handyman for multiple renovation projects and will 100% keep going back to…read morethem as needed. They have helped us completely renovate two bathrooms with custom showers, cabinets, and non standard tiles, retiled and painted our basement, painted our staircase wooden railings, and installed marmoleum flooring in our kitchen. Each time, David came up with creative and viable options for us, advised and accommodated us on any custom requests, kept us up to date on timeline, and made sure to check in with us on any decisions as the project evolved. David's crew is also very skilled, professional, courteous, and meticulous. They all have a very high sense of quality as evidenced by how well the tile fitting and flooring came out (we live in an old row house so nothing is straightforward). David also has a network of special contractors that he pulls in for special tasks (like installing a glass shower door). Their pricing is also reasonable , especially considering the value and peace of mind you get with David and his crew's professionalism.

Good old fashioned, skillful, reliable handymen DO still exist!!! MH Handyman, LLC has proven that…read more I'm a little late completing this review as Mike and his team remodeled a bathroom inside of my mom's 1st floor guest bedroom, which included adding a shower, last October 2021. MH Handyman was one of three estimates we received and theirs was substantially lower than the other two. Plus Mike's vision for adding the shower made a lot more sense than the other two companies. Because the bedroom is relatively small, the other companies wanted to convert the only closet in the room into a shower. Mike found a way to add the shower and keep the closet!!! This was perfect since we wanted to eventually rent the room out and a closet is a must have. Most contractors go over budget and take longer than the estimate, but Not MH Handyman! They completed the work in the exact time they said they would and charged us the exact amount estimated. As a matter of fact, they fixed a few other minor things not originally in the estimate. Mike came over each day to review the work and progress of his team each day. Rather than having one person doing everything, he sent a specialist for each aspect of the project: plumber, painter, grout and tile work and so on. However, Mike himself was the master planner and designer. It's now 3 months after they completed the work and the shower and everything is working great and we have enjoyed the beautiful renovations of the bathroom. I highly recommend MH Handyman for big or small projects inside and outside your home.

The handyman Ali Kharamesh was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m., but on the day of the appointment I received a text saying his car broke down and asking if he could arrive between 12-1 p.m. He eventually showed up with an additional handyman, which I never agreed to. All three closets were built incorrectly in the exact same way and did not match the reference image or instructions. When I pointed this out, I was told it must be a manufacturer defect. He throw away pieces of the installation without consent. The closet manufacture confirmed it was incorrectly installed. There were incorrect drilling and the back board was all incorrect. I contacted FixTman customer service and was told to call the manufacturer and that FixTman would pay for replacement parts. However, the store's only option was a full return, which I accepted. FixTman sent another handyman Chris the next day who looked at the previous person's job and told Nihal he could not fix it because some of the primary tools that came with the closet were missing. After that, FixTman - Seattle attempted to charge me extra for the additional handyman I never approved. I was initially promised a full refund, but later received a call offering only a 10% refund instead from Nihal. This company does not stand by its word and does not take responsibility for poor workmanship. I am still trying to obtain the full refund that was promised, and they are unwilling to honor it. Avoid this vendor at all costs. The company proceeded to deny my refund and I filed with Thumbtack who saw the incident gave me $284 fully back.

They closed all the holes in the walls (no more air coming in) where the old convectors were located; they repaired the flooring so that it looked seamless; and they installed baseboards to mask the gaps left by the new convectors, which were a slightly different size than the previous ones. (The convectors were installed by a different company, so they coordinated with them nicely).
