Staff is unfriendly, unhelpful and act like you are a problem rather than a customer. This past weekend the cashier "forgot" to put $7 batteries in my bag as I checked out. I was in the store looking for motor oil, was ignored walking in with no one asking me if I needed any assistance and with 3 employee's behind the counter that day. Upon returning home I noticed that some expensive specialty batteries I bought were not in the bag so I called the store to ask them if they were still on the counter. Of course they were and even though I was a "rewards" customer and they had my number and could have called me! So off I went again in 95 degree weather to pick them up and had to delay my oil change due to the vehicle being too hot at that point. I walked in and started to tell one of the employee's the reason I returned and he looked at me like I had 3 heads but luckily the cashier saw me and just handed them to me over the counter without offering any apology whatsoever. Never mind the inconvenience of having to go back to get them but the with the price of gas these days they cost me even more money. If you are so miserable working with the public then find another job where you don't have to deal with them. I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid that store and will go to other auto parts stores that appreciates my business.

Other places I called were offering $6 per 100 pounds or $40 pick up fee, or $75-150 for the car without weighing, and some even wanted you to empty the fluids and check the engine, etc. The whole process from phone call to paperwork to pick up of the car to weighing car to check in hand was around one hour on a weekday around lunch time. They give you a receipt for your taxes when filing and also the check. To get the car weight, they weigh the tow truck with the car then drop the car in the lot then re-weigh just the tow truck. You can see the weight at the register and on the electric billboard at the weight station. You need to bring the car title and a photo identification card. The employees were friendly and efficient. I called around all the junk yards that I found on Google in Columbus Ga to see which one would give me the best price. This place offers $6.50 per 100 pounds with free pick up. It also offers $7.50 per 100 pounds if you drop off the vehicle. However, if your junky vehicle runs, you should sell it by looking up its value on kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book) and write the price on the car and drive it around for a buyer to see instead of accepting the few $100s you will get at a scrap yard. East Coast Gear Supply shipped the already built differentials (with ARB lockers) to Foreman's for installation. Chris kept me up to date on the progress and informed me that two parts were needed (after doing the research on-line) for the installation of the ARB Air compressor. They did a clean and neat install of the compressor and of course the differentials as well. They did a bit more work than they quoted me for but kept the price the same.
