I've been seeing Dr. Bennett since 2001. He is the only doctor I have ever seen that will give me acquitted time, listen to me needs, and make good recommendations. I'm in my 50s and over my life I have seen many doctors. Dr. Bennett is by far the best doctor I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Bennett. Dr. Bennett's office is well organized, and I have had no problem getting the prescriptions I needed. In the almost 20 years of seeing Dr. Bennett I have never had a problem with him, his nurses, or his office. I really thing the problems the 1-star reviewer was having is a result of St. Thomas and not Dr. Bennett. St. Thomas Medial Partners suck: I will say if I was evaluating St. Thomas Medical Partners, I would give them a zero star. St. Thomas Medial Partners has really made it difficult for the doctors to give good care. St. Thomas Medial Partners has created a dangerous environment and showed that money is more important than patient health. They require patients to share check-in tablets that contain viruses and germs from sick people who previously handled the tablets. They think that because the check-in tablets have antimicrobial cases, they can't spread viruses. When a sick person handles the tablets the viruses they leave behind remain for a little while, so the next person then gets the virus. Antimicrobial cases do not instantly kill germs and viruses. It basically just means they can't continue to grow. The idiots running St. Thomas Medial Partners has put a mass shooter welcome sign on their front doors. I'm sure they are just idiots and don't know they are welcoming mass shooters. Dr. Bennett does a great job negotiating the roadblocks St. Thomas Medial Partners puts in his way. I was with Dr Bennett over 20 years. Dr Bennett is a fantastic Dr the nurse working for him unfortunately is not. I quit going to Dr Bennett because of her. I'm 60 and believe in respect and manners. This nurse over the phone told me she would call the drug store and cancel a prescription if I fool with her. I had lost my prescription. She decided I no longer needed them after over 20 years of taking them . Yes it is nerve medication. But I went in one last time to be yelled at by her . And I was done. Dr Bennett is a good kind man . But he definitely hurt himself having a rude incompetent nurse taking over his office. read more

I write this negative review with over 25 years managing physicians in the healthcare arena. I employed Dr. Bennett as my family practitioner to treat minor issues such as colds, sinusitis Etc. I am medically retired due to congestive heart disease, kidney disease complicated by diabetes. I am very pleased with my Cardiologist, my Nephrologist, and my Endocrinologist for my complex medical issues. I depended on Dr. Bennet to treat any minor health issues I may have. I have a reoccurring condition that Dr. Bennett and his nurse were aware of. I expected my primary care physician to respond to my need when I am in discomfort. I am not a drug seeker and requested a non narcotic antibiotic refill of a prescription he had filled once before for the same issue. I was ignored last year when I called Dr Bennet for the same medication to treat this condition. The condition was diagnosed by a Urologist. We discussed my dissatisfaction with leaving me in pain over a weekend at a face to face visit. He assured me it would not happen again. Well... the same reoccurring condition appeared on Thursday night. I called his office to get a refill of the non narcotic antibiotic on Friday morning so I could get ahead of the escalating infection and relieve my pain. Dr. Bennett's LPN nurse questioned the previous diagnosis, but said she would speak to the doctor and ask him to refill the medication. .I waited all day Friday for my pharmacy to contact me regarding my refill. No call. No call from Dr. Bennett's office to communicate with me why he did not call the pharmacy to refill the prescription. I remained in pain and the infection continued to escalate over the weekend. I called his office Monday morning to ask why my healthcare was ignored. The front desk told me they would mark my message to Dr. Bennet URGENT, his muse called me back at 4:29pm on Monday. So much for urgent. She left a message that Dr. Bennet was not even In his office on Friday's, and she spoke to him after hours Friday evening about my condition. He failed to take any action at that time, leaving me in pain and an infection untreated for four days. I called his office on Tuesday to inform Dr. Bennett he was fired as my physician for non response. Within 5 minutes I received a call from his nurse. She once again argued that my condition was not common in men but wanted me to know that Dr Bennett would now fill my prescription. Suddenly, my needs are important. I informed his LPN to relay to Dr Bennett that he was fired as my physician. I do not make this decision lightly, but leaving me in pain for the same diagnosis twice with slow response demonstrates that he does not take my wellbeing seriously. I feel I gave Dr Bennet ample opportunity to communicate with me directly and the opportunity to treat my condition albeit 4 days late. He failed on both accounts. I would caution anyone who is a complex patient that needs to depend on Dr. Bennett and his nurse to respond timely, you may be as disappointed as I am. He is in the service business.
