The reception was at the lodge, and the space and bar were prefect. We had a fire pit with s'mores and space for a Photo Booth. I loved the bridal bungalow and had so much space to get ready. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was clean and romantic. The owner is the most lovely woman (Chevin), who was so easy to work with.

DO NOT STAY!!! We stayed at one of the cabins for two nights…read moreduring a ling weekend. From the beginning we thought the owners were very condescending and demanding. But we let it go. But there was many issues with the rental. First of all, downstairs basement had a musty smell. Although there was a dehumidifier in place, a couple of my friends started feeling unwell after spending one night down in the basement. Second of all there was a gas leak at the grill so we couldn't use the grill at all in fear that that doing so would cause a fire. In additional, the dock at the lake was so rotted my friend got a big splinter in her feet! Also the lawn chairs were literally falling apart when someone sits on them! All of these things weren't be a big deal if the owners are helpful and compassionate , but instead they've become so greedy and judgmental even though they called themselves good Christians. We left a good review for previously hoping they can remedy the situation and we can move pass it but none prevail. It makes hard for me to want to refer this place to anyone in fear of their safety.

I am very nervous when I travel on flights. I stay at a hotel the night before. I recommend an Advantage shuttle. No Muss No Fuss August 28,2025 I posted a review about Peggy, Bill's wife. 8-21-25 It vanished Well here it is again Peggy took me to a Hotel close to the airport on Thursday 21, 2025 I was heading to Minnesota first time since the pandemic. I was so Nervous about the thought of flying. I no longer drive in the cities that are large. I do not get on the roads where I may get runned over. I talked Peggy etc. We stop at a rest stop and it was fun. I got a fresh pretzel. Peggy showed me about putting Butter on it. That was really good. Even better sharing it with my little dog Nickie. I highly rate Advantage Shuttle. The vehicles are clean and run very well. OHHH!!! Drivers are well above #1 Why drive down to Atlanta Airport and fight the crazy drivers. Only to park and hope the car still there. Thank you Bill & Peggy you run a fantastic co.

WiFi sucks, but the guy who took us to our sight went and got a loaner router from the office and helped hook it up. Office, clubhouse, pool area and facilities were all very nice and new. The pads are concrete are fairly level. The bad Or original site was someone's driveway. There was a tree overgrowing the driveway on the same side I had to back that made it a challenge to get into the sight. Once in the tree dropped crap all over our toad. The view from our right side window was the side of the building who's driveway we had parked in. My awning almost touched the building and there was very little room outside of our door. The WiFi here didn't work, nor did the cable connection for the tv. They did move us at our request to another open sight. So if you're planning on coming here you have to specifically ask if you're going to be in someone's driveway, because they won't offer that information and the site map doesn't show which lots have buildings on them. If you're looking for peace and quite, this is not the place for you. There is ongoing constructing between the heavy equipment clearing the property for more sites, or the constant banging of people repairing or having new permanent units worked on. Overpriced at $70.00 a day plus extra to be on the creek. We found a much nicer, quieter place in Hiawasee for 35.00 a night with riverfront sights at no extra cost. There's a reason for the 30 day cancellation notice. We tried to get out of our second week to go somewhere else, but they wouldn't allow it. Needless to say, we won't be back. The ugly There was nothing I would rate as ugly here. Just not the place for us ever again.
