I'm surprised Dr. Rosnick doesn't have more 5 star reviews. In 2022 he helped my Gracie and was AMAZING. So compassionate. He gave us time to cry. I held Gracie as she passed. Dr. Rosnick wrapped her up and took her away. Later I received her paw print in clay that I will cherish forever. Hard to say goodbye after sixteen years together but I will always remember, and be grateful for, Dr. Rosnick. read more

Thank you to Dr Benjamin Rosnick and his assistant for their caring and compassion help during a difficult time.

Dr. Rosnick made what is an excruciating experience for a family as easy as one can hope in a never easy situation. I have recommended him to multiple friends when that terrible time came in their families. Losing a furry family member is always heartbreaking. He treats the family with dignity and respect. read more

Wow when I started looking for someone on the dreadful days following my dog Rain getting sick I never thought letting her go would be as comforting as it was. I must say ... in the end I'm more traumatized by seeing my dog struggling and in pain than I was letting her go that day. Ben was super personable and asked meaningful questions about my dogs life before we decided to let her go. Having him come to my house to let my animal pass in peace and comfort was sooo worth it. Your psychie and your pets relaxed state is most important and worth every penny. If you're nervous about making the call you can always ask for a quote and for his availability before actually making your decision. And if it's too difficult he can help you decide ! Just want to remind anyone considering this that you're not alone and that you are strong ! read more

Dr. Rosnick came to my place in North Hills in August 2020, to help my dog cross over the rainbow bridge. Of course... This is a heartbreaking experience. I don't think I could recommend someone more highly than I would recommend Dr. Rosnick. Gentle, compassionate, sympathetic and explained everything before it happened and as it happened. As much as I would have preferred to meet him under better circumstances, he made a very sad day a peaceful one. I never felt rushed, he gave me time alone with her after she passed... Even the way he wrapped her in a blanket at the end of the appointment was nothing short of absolute respect and compassion. I have 2 other dogs at home.... When it's their time, Dr Rosnick will be the one I call. To Dr Rosnick - you're a wonderful human being. Thank you!! read more

We were extremely pleased with Dr. Rosnick and his Assistant Liz. They were both so sweet and understanding. Dr. Rosnick gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our loving 16 year old Lab "Blackie". It was a very high emotional time in our life. You knew he cared as well. We can't say enough kind words except when that time comes for your loved pet we highly recommend you have him knocking on your door. He's the best. read more

I just found his website! Dr Rosnick took care of the end of life euthanasia for beloved Moose 2 1/2 years ago. He was very professional, caring, & incredibly gentle with our Moose, carefully and thoughtfully explaining the whole process. Our dog passed peacefully with belly full of his favorite food and in no pain. Dr. Rosnick and his assistant took his body away and his ashes were returned in a nice wooden box with a paw print. We couldn't more highly recommend a caring, excellent end of life Doc. Thank you again Dr. Rosnick. With gratitude, The Pangelinan Family read more

Doctor Benjamin gave me a call immediately after I requested a quote. Even though he didn't treat my cat, he gave me a free phone consultation which was tremendously unexpectedly kind and generous. I'm amazed that there is still kind hearted vet out there that is not just all about the money. Thanks so much Doctor! read more

I found Dr. Rosnick by chance on the internet. I had no idea that such a service existed. All I knew is that I wanted my dog to be with me until she couldn't be and I wanted her to have an easy transition. The first phone call I had with the Dr put me at ease because he was so calm, and reassuring and more than anything, not pushy. He's no salesman! If anything he will hold back until you are truly ready to put your animal to sleep. I called him at least 4 times- and cancelled 4 times. TRUTH! Eventually, he did come over and explained the process to me and was very gentle with my dog. That was less than 3 years ago. Two months ago, it was time for my other dog to make the transition. I kid you not, I called him 3 times, and changed my mind 3 times. But, when I truly knew it was time, Dr. Rosnick made himself available and I might add on VERY SHORT NOTICE. LISTEN UP- Dr. Rosnick made it clear that in the long run it's better to let your animal go a few days early than a few days, weeks late! At the time, this didn't make much sense to me because I wanted my dog in my arms as long as possible, but I vowed to NEVER let her suffer- and because of Dr. Rosnick I didn't. He came over around 9:30 or 10:00pm. I don't know exactly what his hours are- but he felt it was important to get to me that night because I would have waited until the next day. (that would have been miserable for my dog and myself) I'm a wreck over the loss of my second dog and now I'm dogless. I can only say this Dr is the best you can get for one of the most difficult decisions you will EVER MAKE in your life. Thank you Dr. Rosnick ( Georgy Girl and Trixie ) read more

Now that enough time has passed, I can post a review without crying. De Rosnick was AMAZING. I had tried desperately to get a hold of another mobile vet who straight up declined my call, during his listed business hours. So I did another search and found Dr. Rosnick. My call went to voicemail, but within minutes he texted me to let me know he was on another call and would call me back shortly. He called me back within 15 minutes and we discussed that I had to euthanize my best friend of 13 years. He told me that he would be able to arrive around 10pm, well past his listed hours of operation. He arrived, and was so calm and caring towards my baby girl. He talked us through the whole process in such a soothing and empathetic tone. It was my first time doing an at-home euthanasia, and I will never again put my sick fur babies through the stress of transporting them to the vet or the stress of having to be at a cold and impersonal vets office for their last moments. It's never easy to lose a pet, but having a mobile vet, specifically Dr. Rosnick, who can come in professionally and with heart, is something that makes me so grateful that her last moments were as loving and stress-free as possible. Thank you so very much for your kindness and exemplary demeanor during one of the most difficult times in my life. read more

It's been some time since Dr. Rosnick helped us say goodbye to our labrador. Unfortunately we have had to have a vet come to the house twice now and Dr. Rosnick made the experience so much less painful than the other vet. He is caring, understanding and brought a calm energy to our home. I was ugly crying and he didn't make me feel weird or uncomfortable and let me have as much time as I needed after our boy passed. If you want to say goodbye to your pet in your home and not cause them the stress of an office visit during their final moments, do not use anyone else but Dr. Rosnick. read more

Dr. Rosnick was extremely compassionate and professional in euthanizing my dog Buddy. He called me the night prior to the appointment to discuss Buddy's problems and helped me to feel that I was making the correct decision in the timing of Buddy's euthanasia. In my most terrible time of need he was warm, compassionate, capable, kind and caring and though I am devastated at her loss she was able to pass peacefully because of Dr. Rosnick's care and wonderful manner in her most desperate time of need and mine, as well, and is not in pain any longer. I highly recommend Dr. Rosnick in your time of need when your animal is suffering and the right thing to do is to let go of the living thing who has brought you such incredible, joy, love and happiness. She truly did make this world a better place by her wonderful presence and joyous, brilliant and loving nature. Never to be replaced and never forgotten. In my need and her desperate time, Dr. Rosnick was wonderful. Though it has to be to be the most difficult decision I have had to make in my life he was outstanding, understanding and we will meet again I pray over the rainbow. May she rest in peace and know how much she was loved and cherished by anyone who crossed her path, especially her Mom. read more

I first contacted Dr. Rosnick via email for a free consultation regarding euthanasia services for my dog. She was my first dog and I had a lot of questions. He responded to my email quickly and was very professional and kind in answering all my questions. A couple days later I knew it was time to say goodbye to my girl. I called him later that morning and we scheduled an appointment later that day. Dr. Rosnick explained the process thoroughly at each step. He was incredibly compassionate and patient, and I am so grateful for him helping my dog pass in such a peaceful manner. He also delivered her ashes and a clay paw print in person. Dr. Ben is the most amazing human being and I cannot say enough great things about him. Unfortunately, I have had three of my fur babies leave this universe in the last two years however he really made everything way better and all three of them left in peace with no pain. What a patient and compassionate doctor. When it was time for fluffy to go, Dr. Rosnick was responsive and very informative about the process. He was very nice and came to our home on time. I highly recommend him and his practice. read more

Just had in home pet euthanasia for my 16 year old girl. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. When I booked an appointment it was set up at the last minute and confirmed in under five minutes. They told us he would do the process on our time, and it was clear he really meant it. He took time to make sure we and our other pup was comfortable with him and what would happen. It was one of the worst days of my life but he held space through every moment and was full of comforting words of compassion. He even let us hold a short ceremonial funeral after her passing. I was able to hold my baby one last time as she passed in my arms, catching the moment of lucidity and farewell before she fell into sleep... An experience I had not had for months because of her painful decline and loss of mobility. I would not hesitate to recommend, he offered all we hoped for and more. read more

I hired Benjamin for in-home euthanasia, exactly 3 months ago today. He was recommened by a friend. Benjamin made the hardest decision in my life bearable, as he had GREAT bedside manners. He was kind, compassionate, professional and highly competent. Benjamin explained in detail what to expect during the euthanasia, and what he was doing. There were surprises at all. I was holding my dog and talking to him until his final breath, and he clearly did not experience any discomfort, pain or fear. Thank you so much Benjamin! Sincerely, Anna Majer read more

One of my long-time community cats is slowly, but steadily heading over the Rainbow Bridge and our own vet was unable to fit us in for several days - so I began to search Yelp for a more expedient option. After a brief round of phone tag, I had a warm and caring conversation with Dr. Rosnick - who agreed to make himself available if a local vet could not see us today. Fortunately, I was able to secure an appointment with a vet for this afternoon. Nonetheless, I am extremely grateful to Dr. Rosnick for his quick call back and for taking the time to ask all the right questions, and truly listen to my replies. While I have not met Dr. Rosnick in person, my sense is that he is a very kind and caring doctor, practicing old-school style Veterinarian medicine - which never goes out of style. Thank-you, Dr. Rosnick, for your time, support and understanding. I really appreciate it. read more

When it became apparent that our beloved dog, Dubby, was having trouble breathing, I knew I needed to find someone to come over the day of. It was very sad to say goodbye to Dubby, but I had a great experience with Dr. Rosnick from beginning to end. From our phone consultation, I got good vibes from him and found him to be very compassionate and caring. I had family driving down from NorCal to say goodbye to Dubby, and Dr. Rosnick was able to accommodate our request for an 11:30 PM appointment on a Friday night! He walked us through every step of the procedure and we found him to be very professional. He also helped us take care of the cremation and personally returned Dubby home. I could not have wished for a more peaceful transition for our dear Dubby. I am so grateful for Dr. Rosnick. Thank you! read more

I've had a few different house call vets provide care for my two cats and Dr. Rosnick is my favorite. Same day appointment and super easy to work and communicate with. I liked that he wasn't the type of vet that overuses medication--just enough to help kitty heal (I swear, some will prescribe everything under the sun). He was super kind and gentle to my kitty and his vet tech Jose was amazingly good with the little tiger during the blood draw--i'd never seen my cat respond that well to any type of procedure! Anyway, it is worth looking at Dr. Rosnick's "filtered reviews" (thanks yelp!), clearly i'm not the only one impressed by his house call service! read more

Above and beyond. I had to put my little soul buddy, Marley, down last month in August - like everyone else- it was THEE HARDEST thing I've ever had to choose. It's a wound that will never completely heal. With that said, Dr. Ben made that whole experience bearable. He walked me through every step, he explained to me everything that was about to happen- even though I was a wreck and barely understood anything at the moment. He was patient and kind. I had a special request of letting my dogs body sit for at least two hours before getting frozen & he kindly obliged. (Spiritual reasons) I recommend him to anyone having to go through the euthanasia process for their pet. read more

You have to face of the saddest things you'll experience and in the case of my faithful 11.5 year old Australian Shepherd, it happened suddenly. In the morning Enzo was doing very poorly and my husband and I felt we should be prepared just in case that the day had arrived (I once had a wise and compassionate vet teach me that it is better to be one day too early than one day too late). So I researched home vets, in home euthanasia services, and spoke with a vet at the practice we take our beloved fur baby too. Everything led me to Dr. Rosnick. Compassionate, kind, sensitive. He was on the floor with our 70 pound Aussie within seconds of arriving, petting and soothing him, speaking in a calm and quiet manner. All of his movements were smooth and gentle, he explained every single step, and he used specific medicines designed to relax and ease our pup's passing (not all vets are as thorough when it comes to keeping the procedure completely stress-free). Highly recommend him if you have to ease your companion out of this life. read more

If you're looking for an at home vet, Dr. Rosnick is the best of the best. It wasn't until my dog Abby's rapid decline that I fully understood the value in having a great and compassionate vet. Dr. Rosnick explained my options, weighed the final results and helped to solve the many many doubts in a pet owner's mind about which decision is best. He made the process so much easier and answered every question I had and obliged some specific requests I made. He took the mystery out of what seems like a scary and dreary process, and helped me to feel re-assured that I chose the right time for my sweet little 4 legged child. We're very grateful to Dr Rosnick for his empathy, compassion, skill, and expert professionalism. He answered all our questions, was patient as we made and cancelled several appointments, and did everything possible to make the very difficult decision and procedure for euthanasia as gentle, peaceful, and loving as it could be. He has come to our house twice in the past few years to ease the transition for our elderly and infirm dogs. Dr. Rosnick was nothing short of a knight in shining armor on the second worst day of my life. The day I finally made the heartbreaking, gutwrenching , decision to put my best friend, my pizza night buddy, my ice cream loving girl, of 17 years and 3months, Miss Bodhi to sleep. Both Bodhi and I were so grateful that Benjamin was available to come right out, quite quickly I must add, and was SO calm, understanding, patient with me(I was a basket case), thru the entire process. I had been thru it once before(God rest Miss Sables' soul as well), so I was a bit familiar with the ins and outs...BUT doing it on your front lawn where Bodhi had been resting for a couple hours, she was calm, peaceful, and hopefully transitioned to a place where she is free from the chains that were binding her on this earth...and both Sable and Bodhi will be there to greet me upon MY transition. I hope and pray that our true selves shall meet again. read more
