Definitely the best place to stop for your hardware needs!

Wow. Just wow. For more than 10 years my wife and I had trouble with our antique door knobs on our…read morefront door. The set screwa were too short and you can imagine the issues with the knobs pulling off. I tried lots of solutions including loctite blue which helped the screwa stay in placew, which helped, but never addressed the issue that the sets screws were simply too short (but we would have to get in a time machine to the 1940s to complain to the manufacturer) * A national hardware store had test openings that showed the screws were sized "1/4 - 20" but they didn't have the actual screws and the guy that was helping me said no one did * The owner of a mom and pop hardware store told me that longer set screws did not exist at all and that I needed to look at an antique store. He wouldn't even check * Then I went to Little Hardware at a Friend's suggestion.. I walked in and the guy who helped me introduced himself and shook my hand. He measured the set screw I had as "1/4 - 20" just like you he big retailer. He then immediately found matching sets screws that were longer (see photo). I had to buy a hex tool to entire I could connect the 4 screws on both knobs. The entire purchase was $15 but I would have paid a lot more to get these knobs right. And now, for the first time since we bought our old house I feel confident in our old door knobs Thank you Little Hardware -- I'm a customer for life!

No. Do they know how to answer questions, make sure their inventory is organized and know where to find anything that they do have in stock. YES! That is why I love coming here. Don't get me wrong, I love saving money. But when I can get this type of customer service and support a local business, I am 100% happy to do it. I am a little selective when I go here if I am looking for big ticket items. But to be honest, they have yet to let me down. Heck, they even had the mailbox stand we were hoping for when the big box stores only had plastic and vinyl options. Unlike some other local hardware stores, they are friendly and genuinely want to help. They have a great selection and the prices aren't too bad. The location is EXTREMELY convenient. Especially since we moved. I look forward to years of coming to visit them when I have my weekend projects. Even if you aren't close, these are good folks that will treat you right.

None of the other 4 or 5 people behind the counter did anything but stare or smirk. If this is how they allow people to act, I'm amazed they are still in business. I will actively discourage people going from this point forward.
