I am not so sure about the replacement doctor at Boomerang; I am a person that doesn't like change so it is hard to tell if it was me who didn't care for her, or if it was her and I picked up on it! I decided to ask my pcp to order meds rather than go back there. Trying to get refills or messages to your doctor was difficult. There was not a portal that you could send a messages. Therefore, I often did not know the outcome. Thank you Dr Chen for all your care and compassion. One day I was in so much pain post surgery, that Dr Chen willingly changed my appt to video. He stated he doesn't usually do zoom calls but made an exception. The front office staff were like robots without any understanding or compassion. Just another workday for them. Though, I must give them credit for fast appt. check in. I would just rate the Dr as excellent and office staff are just average. The ehr that they use is not user friendly.

No virtual appointments so if you're severely injured, you still have to come in even for follow ups. Go anywhere else.

It made a very stressful situation so much easier knowing I was in such capable hands. I especially want to recognize Dani for going so far above and beyond with the billing support. She put in so much extra work behind the scenes, and I truly appreciate all the time, patience, and dedication she and Ginger gave to helping resolve everything. My medical care truly could not have happened without their support, and it has been life-changing for me. A huge thank you as well to Sarah for making sure we were scheduled for the procedure and helping everything come together smoothly and on time. Her help made the entire process seamless. This team truly cares about their patients, and it shows in every interaction. I am beyond thankful for all of their help and highly recommend this office.

I was told this was necessary because the employee who booked my appointment had been terminated, and there was no documentation in my chart. I clearly explained at that time why I was seeking care and specifically asked the receptionist to verify my insurance eligibility to ensure I could see the physician. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that it had been scheduled incorrectly. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, I was told I needed to contact my insurance company to obtain my physical insurance card information. While I was on the phone with my insurance provider, the doctor briefly came to the front desk area. At the time, it appeared to be a casual interaction with staff, but given the circumstances, it seemed possible she had been informed that my insurance information had not been properly collected by the former receptionist. Once I provided the required insurance details, I was finally taken to an exam room by a medical assistant. As I sat down, the staff member commented that the doctor was not friendly and could be rude and abrupt. My blood pressure was taken and measured at 140/103, which is elevated. The assistant stated she would not inform the doctor and would instead retake it because she did not want to "go there" with her. When retaken, I was told it was still high. The staff member asked additional questions and mentioned I would see her again after the doctor completed the examination. However, just two minutes later, she returned to inform me that the doctor had left and would not be seeing me that day. I was asked if I would like to reschedule. Although I remained composed and declined, I left the office in tears, feeling defeated and deeply disappointed. It is difficult to understand how someone seeking medical care could be treated in this manner. I will be contacting patient relations, and I felt it was important to share this experience here as well.
