the pizza here is fairly good, and years ago i used to love that they would sell by the slice at certain times. tried to go last week in the evening and the worker said the slices ended at 3. i pointed out that the sign in the front says slices are also available 8-11pm on mon-fri, and she just doesn't say anything aside from repeating that slices end at 3. no explanation on if the sign is out of date or no longer accurate. they definitely need to fix the sign if that's the case. read more

Just moved to the area and looking for a new pizza place. I have not had Benito's in many years, so I decided to give it a try. We ordered delivery, over the phone. Super quick to place the order, delivery took about an hour, which was expected. Pizza arrived hot! All the toppings were fresh and delicious. We also ordered a Greek salad that was fantastic. All of the lettuce was fresh, as well as the toppings. The cinnamon bread was okay, nothing that great about it. Overall, great pizza, we will be ordering from them again in the future. read more

Generally not friendly and unprofessional. Driver tried to scam more tip money from me. During Pandemic: No employee wore a mask. No signs requiring masks. No markings to keep social distancing. One pen used by all patrons to sign. No hand sanitizer for customers after using their pen. In my opinion that shows no respect for the customer. I'm the idiot for going there over and over. The food and service was great. Very delicious and good quality. The staff was friendly and worked quickly. They gave me an estimate time of 15 minutes and had my food ready and cooked to perfection within that timeframe. The store is a little small but they had a really cute Christmas tree and the area was clean. There was lots of customers coming and going, the staff handled everyone with respect. We ordered pizza and it was overcook the crust and the whole bottom of the pizza was so overcooked we couldn't eat it. We ordered extra cheese and the cheese was so overcooked and baked on that we couldn't tell there was cheese on it. When I called the store the manager said she had to talk to the owner and they offered me a $5 credit. I told them no I wanted my pizza remade and she said I can come pick it up. I told her no I paid $5 for delivery and tipped the driver $8 I would like it remade and delivered. She placed me on hold again to talk to the owner and said they can do that but they wanted the pizza back that was originally made. I told the manager absolutely she can have it back. It took a hour to get the pizza and this time is was a little better but they didn't flavor the crust and they left it plain even though we ordered parmesan crust. This is not the first time their food wasn't good. We will not be going back. The food quality is poor and not worth the money. I will drive to the Novi Benito's their the best!!! read more

I used to work at this particular Benito's when they first opened, things happened, I no longer work there but no hard feelings. A few months ago I really wanted some Benito's, so we order some kind of deep dish, can't remember exactly what kind, when we got it delivered we actually knew the guy. When we started eating the pizza it was really doughy and that is why I debated getting a deep dish. I let the owner Sarah know and appreciated I said something. Last night we had a few buds over and wanted some pizza, he ordered Benito's, Bacon and Feta on one and just plain pepperoni on the other. LET ME TELL YOU!!! BEST Bacon and Feta Pizza we had all ever eaten!!! I HIGHLY recommend this Benito's and there Bacon & Feta. But the pizzas were round so can't say if they have fixed the doughy deep dish dilemma! read more

The new owners, Sarah and her mother, took over this pizza place with no prior experience. After a short learning curve (everybody deserves a break while they're getting started, right?), they are doing a great job. The newly remodeled lobby looks very nice, the place is always clean as a whistle, and customer service keeps getting better and better. A real nice touch is that who ever takes your phone order always reads it back to you to make sure it's exactly right. Ever since the new owners have taken over my order is almost always wrong. Whomever that takes orders is confused and you have to repeat it about 3 times. Then when I get my order it's still wrong. Also they have switched to a bottled ranch and it tastes very bitter. Even my 3 year old who loves ranch said it was gross and won't eat it. This Benito's is amazing! The pizza is always made to my liking! I don't live within their delivery guidelines but will pick up because of how delicious it is! They have gluten free pizza which is a plus!! The Benito bread is by far THE BEST cheesy bread in town!! I have Benito's pizza cater my holiday parties by ordering a BIG Benito which is always a hit! First time ordering from Benitos and had a good experience. Wait was about 40 minutes. Ordered online and they got everything correct. Maybe the other reviews were based on someone on the phone getting it wrong, but ordering online went fine. Delivery guy was great, food was hot, and not too long a wait for a Friday night. I do wish they would put some seasoning (salt, oregano, etc) in their sauce but the thin pizza crust was great. Can't get many non-thick crust pizzas around here so I was glad to see that on the menu. Add some seaaoning to the sauce and this will be my go to pizza from now on. read more

Have been buying pizza at Commerce Benitos since they opened. Have never gotten a bad pizza, until today. They have always been our number one choice for carryout pizza. Ordered Deep Dish Big Meal. They had forgotten banana peppers the last time I ordered there. I called in at the time so they could note it for my next order. Today I asked for them to add the peppers to correct the error from last time. The employee seemed to understand. I got charged for them again. Okay, a mistake, maybe the employee is new. We got the pizza home and found that although I had requested extra sauce, and it was on the order slip, there was pretty much no sauce. I have always especially liked Benitos sauce. Their deep dish crust is usually excellent. Today, very flat and undercooked. I could make allowance if they were very busy, but it was not busy. I am very disappointed. I can't order Benitos pizza again. read more
