They have a tag system where some things are 20% off all the way down to $1.50 and I managed to score quite a few few things at the dollar 50 price including some new tags Eileen Fisher pieces! This is a great cause as well as a cute store with really nice people. The Larger store which is farther down towards Pacific Grove has lots of housewares as well. The smaller store which is just up the block from the Goodwill is more boutique awesome place to go Do Not not miss this on your Thrift trip to Monterey.

It actually has some very nice collectibles in there, but the prices are outrageous. There is ample parking in front of the store, especially on a weekday. When I walked in, I definitely got the sticker shock. They had two hand woven wicker, Mexican children's chairs. That they were asking $85 each. These may have been vintage, but they were sure beat up. And $85 seems a little bit high. They use a tiered descending pricing which decreases the price once every month until it gets down to 50%. Oddly though I didn't see any prices that were lowered on my trip today. It's a very nice store as far as the things they have in there some lovely old pieces some very nice clocks and other collectibles. The clothing is again right in the middle of the store and it makes it a little difficult to navigate for someone who uses a cane like I do. I have used the Alliance on aging myself and I know they're a good group so I do wish them every success with their store but I think the prices are still pretty high. Also, the staff could be a little more friendly when you come in, the two ladies that were working completely ignored the entire time.

I understand some are good brands but some vests & dresses are priced @ i50$ or more even though they are frayed & worn. FOrgive me for taking 2 prizes but I couldnt decide what to have.. I wanted the gummy glitter paste as I needed something to keep myself calm.. and a slapping bracelet.. What sold me the most was the chalks. There was this fun lady who was waving a wand of bubbles and ask perrmission to draw, and the moment she said yes..I immediatly bend down on my knees and draw the first thing on my mind.. MERMAID ARIEL. THen when that was done.. I had more spare time so I drew GENIE JASMINE once i finished i manage to get up and began to browse the furniture.. The staff already placed their things inside but let me allowed to draw some more. They were very kindful and enjoyed the image i did. They do have some nice things like tvs and tables and such but mom loves to shop there taking her sweet time as we travel very very far just to be here ( and a few stores we love to go to). Thank you so much for letting me draw the side walk. I love disney but these two gave me happyness and joy. This made my day as I couldn't go to Comic con this year and felt heartbroken v_v...but that sidewalk drawing made my day for the better!
