He said "if we cut like this, it'll be better" and I hesitated on every suggestion but I said "as long as it'll give me the look like the photo I showed you". He told me no worries and to essentially trust the process. Well. Towards the end of the cut, I wasn't seeing the vision and he kept apologizing and saying things like "well I already cut over here. Can't fix it" and kept saying "ya sorry, your hair is hard to cut". He suggested "you just have to grow your hair back out" - like, come on, he was cutting 5-6inches of hair down to the skin. It'll take me months to get my hair back. At the end he said "next time bring more pictures" - I told him I had more and that he claimed that was perfect and that was all he needed. He blamed me. He still charged me full price. Seriously?? I paid anyway because I didn't want the trouble but I felt wronged here.

April did my lashes, and though her previous appt ran a bit long (that girl is BOOKED!), I didn't have to wait too long. And honestly, the wait is worth it. I appreciated that they accept "foreign" fills and didn't charge me for a full set (like other salons do). I told April what I wanted, slight cat eye and somewhere between hybrid and volume and wow she blew me away. I accidentally fell asleep but it was great because when I woke up, she was basically done! I could feel how thorough she was to ensure I had layers of lashes. It's been 5/6 days so far and literally only 1 lash has fallen out; this is unheard of from my other lash techs. I truly think I could trust anyone at this salon, they care so much, it's palpable! But now she offers the service as well and it's amazing!!). Since I started, I have been in a car accident that greatly hurt my back and am currently pregnant. I've been to multiple massage therapist that we're referrals from my doctor for the accident and no one helped (and a few hurt), Bridget has been the only person who can actually help me get any relief from the pain and so to this day, I view her as a true gift to this world (excuse the dramatics, but if you were in as much pain as I was, you'd be practically kissing her feet for any relief you could get too). As I said, I am pregnant and that along with my accident injuries has not been a walk in the park, but any chance I get to get into see Bridget for a massage is always such a great experience. Massages are a scary thing when you're pregnant and there's specific things that a massage therapist needs to know to protect the baby. Bridget massaged me my 2nd and 3rd trimesters and I trust her with my body and my baby fully, she's aware of the safe places and adjusted her pressure for my new sensitivity levels and I will forever be loyal to Bridget. Try her out and I assure you, you will be too. I don't put my name on much, but when I find someone/thing that works, I feel it is my responsibility to share. Sorry this got kind of long, but I just felt I needed to give a full picture of Bridget's capabilities since she has been there for me in a much greater way than you'd think a wax or a massage could be.

I have been to this brow bar quiet a bit since they opened at southcenter. They must have a high turn over because I think i only get the same person once or twice. Either way they give great service. Only think I will say and why I'm not giving them more stars is that they tend to be way to familiar with each other in front of clients. Ive worked in retail and spas and I know you need to leave your personal lives to when no one is around or in the back room. Lastly I stopped in on the day before Valentines. I tried calling for almost an hour, finally i stopped in since I was in the area. The person working was who knows where and she finally showed up after I milled around for 5 or so minutes only to tell me the brow girl had left early that day cause they were slow. Ugh. Kinda annoying since if they would have answered the phone i would have known. read more

So I recently moved here to seattle and I needed a Brow Bar! So I was recommended to come to Southcenter Macy's by a co-worker. As I did, Vanessa was the only one working and just the approach I felt comfortable! She was so sweet from introducing herself and getting to know me to the end of the wax. I received a Brow Wax and a Tint ($32) and Im so excited they offer tint now!! Everything came out PERFECT, she took her time, didn't rush and talked me through everything from the tint to the wax. Thank you Telle!!!! Ok Soooo, I get a little hair on the lip and chin from time to time and really only like to get them waxed. I went to this bar in the mall and was worried that Everyone would see my whiskers being waxed. So, I told Telle (who has the prettiest skin) that I was a little embarrassed to get it done right there. DO NOT go here for lash extensions Let me take you through…read moremy experience First, she was very unhygienic, she didn't change the sheet where the previous customer had been, nor did she wash her hands between clients Then she started applying the lashes... she was very rushed, and sloppy She answered calls during my appointment and then when the next client came in, she threw some more lashes on and Called it a day Spent only about 20 minutes on them I couldn't open my eyes at all, so she took some scissors and cut and ripped apart my bottom and top lashes and said it was normal SHE CUT THEM My eyes were watering so bad and my vision was blocked by these long, plastic, lashes The quality of the lashes were awful and not at all what I asked for They looked like lashes you'd buy at party city So I paid and left, and when I got home I spent TWO HOURS trying to get them off There were CLUMPS of glue all throughout my lashes I tried everything, lash glue remover, oils, eye drops etc So I called her and explained what was going on and asked for a refund or atleast a partial refund because this is not okay I also asked if I could back in and have her remove them and she said no just use eye drops?? And then she said she'd call the owner who lives in India When she called me back an hour later she said the owner said that was normal for the first day... the blurred vision and glue stabbing my eye was normal?? Oh and not to mention at this point my eye was red and swollen... It's the next day now and my eyelids still hurt, they feel bruised And that she wouldn't refund me Do not go to this place, they do not deserve to be in the business of lash extensions

I had recently moved and was looking for a new lash artist I could see consistently and build a long-term professional relationship with. Before booking, I reviewed Kelly's website, Yelp page, and booking requirements. I understood that she had a strict cancellation policy requiring the full appointment price, and I provided my credit card information to secure the appointment. I booked a new-client lash fill, brow wax, and brow tint. On the day of the appointment, my car repair was taking longer than expected, so I texted Kelly to give her a heads-up. She initially said she could be flexible by up to an hour, which I appreciated, while also reminding me of her cancellation policy. As we continued texting, Kelly informed me that she would need to remove all of my existing lashes, even though they were only about a week old. This was not clearly listed as a requirement on her website or booking platform. There was an optional add-on to remove lashes from another artist, but nothing stating that a full removal was mandatory. Although I was frustrated, I was willing to accept that. What ultimately changed the situation was learning that July 31 was Kelly's final day working in Seattle because she was moving to California. This was not disclosed on her website or booking platform. She told me she had announced it on Instagram, but I do not believe a new customer should be expected to search through every social-media account for such important information before booking. People who receive lash extensions are generally looking for an ongoing artist, not someone who will remove their current lashes, perform one service, charge a new-client rate, and then immediately leave the state. Had I known she was relocating, I never would have booked the appointment. I asked Kelly whether she would consider splitting the cancellation charge because this significant information had not been disclosed. She could have charged me for the lash service but waive the brow wax and tint--anything that demonstrated some accountability or willingness to meet me halfway as I understand the value of her time. She refused. I never disputed that I had agreed to her cancellation policy. My concern was that a material fact about her business--her final day in Seattle--was not disclosed during the booking process. Kelly could also clearly see that a brand-new client had booked an appointment on her final day and could have contacted me so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I felt that there was no effort to acknowledge the situation, provide reasonable customer service, or take any responsibility for the lack of transparency. My experience was disappointing, and I feel like taking my money was more important to her than ensuring a prospective customer was taken care of.
