went for the first time as my usual person was booked and regret it so much! not only was it so much more expensive than what i pay for, the customer service was terrible!! manjit called my name and didn't tell me what to do and kept standing there doing nothing before my service stated. i have also never had someone break the thread 6 times in just doing my brows and it was so much more painful than needed as they would go over so slowly where you feel every strand being ripped out individually. this left me with the most irritated and red skin all over! she didn't even give me a tissue or offer to wipe my brows and lefts tens of hairs all over my face. when it comes to my brows, genuinely so confused as she cut the bottom part of my brow on one side and that they are not even as one is longer than the other. i was very sure she would not be able to fix it and botch it even more. i went with my sister who got it done by someone else and they literally said "i was so scared" when doing her brows... would give 0 stars if i could read more

I want to say one thing first before I go into the reason why I'm giving a 2 star review is that the ladies here do a great job at threading your brows and making them clean, even and crisp. As I'm reading though the reviews I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that has been disappointed by their aggressive sales tactics. I've been coming here for 3-4 years and while they always try to sell their other services and products, I put up with declining so often because I like the way they do my brows. However, this last time really threw me over the edge and I've finally decided to never give them my business again. The lady was trying to sell me the brow lamination special because my "brow hairs going in a lot of different directions". I declined after her asking 3 times. Then she tried to sell me some lip oil because my "lips are very dry" and I also had to decline twice. She then asked if I wanted to tint my brows so that "you don't have to wear makeup and you'll look pretty". I came straight here to get my brows done after leaving cancer treatment so the unnecessary, rude and degrading comments are completely unappreciated and inappropriate. I'd you're trying to be professional and sell a product, maybe don't be rude and harass your customers. Usually get my eyebrows threaded here. With that they do a good job most of the time. Went in yesterday to just have them cleaned up but the lady convinced me to tint and laminate them. I was curious since I've never had them laminated before. After looking at them today I see no difference. Most of the tint has faded after lightly washing them. I also need to use a the brow gel/glue to make them stay up like the lamination was supposed to do. At this point I could have just bought the gel and saved the money I spent. Definitely not worth the money. At this point I don't want to go back but I bought a membership so I don't want to waste that money as well. It's uncomfortable coming here as well because it feels like they're trying to sell you something every chance they get. Will go to a different location next time. Carsalesmen of eyebrows. I hate going here because it's "tint; lip, eyebrow pencil, membership yada yada yada" endlessly throughout your 5-minute appt every time. They also charge 2-3x compared to the other places and for genuinely no reason. But this place is convenient for me at times so sometimes I gotta suck it up. But be prepared that they don't know how to take "no" for an answer. Or should I say choose not respect your answer.. I would hope females especially wouldn't pressure and play games with other females like this, but they're relentlessssssss which makes for a pretty poor and uncomfortable experience. Hurts- I get threaded all the time and I don't know if it's the thread they use but it's thin/scrapes your skin like cheap floss and hurts. The ladies were VERY pushy about the membership and other services. As soon as I sat in the chair she asked if I wanted a tint. Then at cash register she asked if I wanted a membership and then the other lady who was helping another customer check out came over and was pushing it on me too. I kept saying no and the other lady said something to my lady in their language. Then my lady confirmed I didn't want the membership and rung me up. Then said snarkily: lyou did this last time too, no?" (As in saying "no membership, maybe next time.) I was so taken aback it was my first time there and I've no idea who they thought I was! Just rude. When a customer says no, it's no. You're not a car salesman. Felt like I was being hounded. Would not go again. I've been going to this location for the past ~7 years and then Lynnwood before. I love getting my brows threaded over waxing and overall they've always done a good job. The past few times I've been in, they are so pushy with upselling it's getting to the point where I no longer want to come. I get upselling but to repeatedly ask after I say no is frustrating. This last service I was asked about tint, lamination, upper lip, and renewing my membership (even though I have 2 services left). After I said no to each I was then told why I should have it and need it, said no again, and then asked one more time. Every time I tell her how I'd like my brows done, she always says it won't look good and it'll look like a woman's eyebrow and not a mans. LADY, I don't CARE, i'm paying for you to perform a service. I went to Brow Arc today since my brows were long overdue for a thread clean-up. I specifically went today because the girl I like (I don't know her name, sorry) only works weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). When I walked in, she was already with a customer. So I went with Hajar (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) instead. I have never been threaded by her before but from the looks of her thick brows, I kind of trusted that she knew what she was doing. I had asked for a clean-up. She began to thread my brows and then pluck them. She completely reshaped my brows and they were much thinner than what I walked in with. I wish she had paused every now and then so I can check if I liked the shape and if I wanted more hair off. I take partial blame because I should have said something as it was all happening. It just sucks that I have 2-3 more prepaid services and I don't want them to go to waste. Next time, I will be waiting for the girl that only works weekends and will speak up. I remember in the past I got my eyebrows threaded (in a different city -- not associated with this company) and I told myself I'd never do it again. When I came here the first time I asked to get my eyebrows waxed but they convinced me to give it another try. I'm glad they did. It wasn't painful and I didn't have to deal with 1.5 hours of walking around with bright red eyebrows. Game changer! I also want to mention your eyebrows will look great. I normally never go to this brow place, I always go to Grace's Beauty Salon in renton, unfortunately they close early so I decided to come here since they close later in the evening and was a last resort. I walked in and they helped me instantly, however the girl spent maybe 5 minutes threading my eyebrows. I looked in the mirror and there were so many little hairs she didn't get. So I asked if she could pluck them or thread a little more. She did, they looked okay. With such a mediocre job, I was completely surprised by the price. $15!!! Save your self your money and go to Grace's Beauty Salon in Renton, where it's only $5 and do an absolutely amazing job. So I went in today this Moroni g and it was empty I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted and it was...horrible I hate my brows and after trying to grow them back from past experiences I'm back at square 1. My tint is unevenly distributed and my eyebrows are uneven. Tried this place for the very first time yesterday. Went in with a friend that had gone there a while back. I had gotten my eyebrows threaded at other salons before. The ladies mentioned that they did eyebrow tinting which excites me cause I hadn't gotten that done in a long time. I even convinced my friend to get them tinted. The lady begun by threading my eyebrows and then tinted them...she over threaded my eyebrows and my eyebrows skin is stained horribly. Never ever had I had them look this bad. The shape is not even. She wanted to add more but by that point I was ready to just get out! Then I paid...$40.00. I have never paid $40 bucks for these services. This is a huge rip off. Normally I would pay $20.00. I even googled other places and none were anywhere close to this amount!! Will never ever go back to this place even if they gave me a free year free services. The ladies that worked there were nice. Thursday around 4pm, I was only the second person to sign in for the day. I have two small red bumps and my eye brow is inflamed. After consulting Dr. Google, I realized that's because the area was not cleaned, and the thread was not clean. She quickly wiped my eyebrow with a tissue and I didn't have any aloe (like I normally do at the place I frequent) after. When I was paying I noticed multiple strings over her shoulder... even if these weren't reused, ew. Extra star above one because she was nice, and that deserves something. Never had she even offer a cooling gel. $25 to get an underarm wax? Jesus. Its overpriced. I recommend Kally's instead in this case because not only you're getting your armpit waxed for a waaaaay cheaper price but they also make sure your armpit is free of any left hair and they clean the residue of wax after. I've never had a problem with this place until now.. I'm not originally from the Tukwila/Seattle area, but I come every now and then to visit Family. Well this time I came for a concert and brought my good friend along. I had always talked so highly about this place because this is where I actually got my eyebrows first done here! I haven't trusted anybody else since then... unfortunately this time was just a nightmare. First walked in and was instantly assisted! Clearly because there was no one else in the salon, but still great! The threader was super nice and we agreed on cleaning up my brows. "Halfway" through the process, I say that because she gave me the mirror and I kid you not one eyebrow was threaded higher above the other!! I was in shocked and she looked at me with a panic look, and told me she needed to fix it by pulling three or four more hairs. BUT she kept working on the eyebrow that was already higher and she threaded my eyebrow into a shape of a "chola" brow!!! I was so upset because my eyebrow DID NOT start out that thin! The other brow kept a little bit of it's shape. I don't know what was going through her head thinking that my eyebrows needed an arch or maybe THINNED OUT but I left the salon in tears because now I have to fill in my brows every time I step outside my house. i got my brows threaded here and it was fine. my brazilian wax was done so aggressively and she didn't even get all of the hair. it's been about two weeks and as it's starting to grow back i notice so many ingrown hairs. the lady who did my wax didn't really talk me through it at all and they are very pushy about buying their membership or getting a gift card. read more
