I called Hair Unlimited Salon and Spa, hoping that I could get that help and SOON! My FABULOUS experience started with the phone conversation with Frank. He went beyond the routine to work me into the schedule for Gel- manicure, unlimited Pedicure AND a hair rescue, all the same day! Brandy, the nail professional, was exactly that. Professional, compassionate and non-judgmentAl. I had damaged my left big toenail trying to do my own pedicure. She not only made them look lovely, she did it painlessly. I love the Gel-manicure She did for me. I have already rebooked my next 2 mani/pedis. Gail saved me from having to shave my head and start over! No exaggeration. My hair was so dry and damaged, it was impossible to work with. She listened to my explanation of the problem and concerns I had with my hair. Gail discussed options to repair the damage done to the cut and condition of my hair. I felt like I was truly listened to and understood. Gail did a MARVELOUS job with the wash; conditioning; cut and styling of my hair! Her advise on home care products was greatly appreciated. It was really a "Hair Rescue". I can't thank Gail enough for her time and skill. I have already booked my next hair appointment. I am hoping this is the start of a long professional relationship,

Last night on 11/12/24 around 5:30PM I had decided to come in and get my eyebrows done. I have been…read morecoming to this business for years, literally since I was in high school. I have always enjoyed getting my eyebrows done here and would constantly boast about this business and their talent in their field. I only get my eyebrows done about four times a year. I always pay $20 on their $11 eyebrow service, and leave the change for a tip. I went in last night and asked to have my eyebrows cleaned up as I have always done. When she gave me the mirror she turned away and didn't even look me in the eye. I figured, "Hey, I come here all the time, these people are professionals, they always do me right." No....the lady that had serviced my eyebrows had left them at different lengths, different curvature in the arches, and an extra sharp tail on one side and not the other. It hurts to have a business that you have trusted for so long with your cosmetic care to intentionally cause for humility and embarrassment in your life. Of course hair grows back but it's ridiculous that I would even have to deal with this issue with people who claim to be professionals, when they are clearly not. I will NEVER go back to the eyebrow threading business located in the Apple Blossom Mall ever again.

I used to come here often last year but I took a break and recently came back yesterday but I had a…read morenot so nice visit, while I was there I only asked to get my eyebrows threaded and that was it. When I was in the chair the women doing my eyebrows proceeded to ask me if I wanted my mustache threaded, I said no bc I have only peach fuz and it isn't noticeable in that area, then after she finished my eyebrows she asked again and I said no for the 2nd time, I was a bit annoyed by this because they asked me twice after I said no once, when I got back to my car I saw my left eyebrow was cut from the threading and drew blood and left a scab and she never told me about it in the shop that she had cut me, I have never had a bad experience before this and I will not be returning because I feel it is unacceptable to cut a client and not tell them.

It was impossible to get in touch with the wedding coordinator (Dana) -it got to the point where I would call at least every other day or text multiple times to get a response. 2. They were very disorganized-I had to do two separate makeup/hair trials got time wrong for both of them. 3. It took me 7 attempts to schedule a trial for my bridal makeup and I started about a year ahead of time. 4. The worst part was, they (everyone except Steph) had attitudes. Pretty rude. Wedding makeup is expensive and I felt as if I was working around their schedule instead of getting the time booked I was paying for. All in all: do not book, other great work is out there and do you really want negative vibes on your wedding? I was sad I had such a negative experience for my wedding because I had been using them for makeup for years and I will never use their service again.

I booked my wedding hair and makeup trial here and was willing to give them a shot despite some of…read morethe concerning reviews I read on various websites. They're pricing was great and they were very responsive before my visit! After my trial, however, I am super disappointed and upset with my experience. I am a low-maintenance bride (or try my best to be) but would not recommend booking them for wedding hair services. I WOULD recommend them for makeup services. When I arrived, no one greeted me for 5-10 minutes AND no one was wearing masks. They're busy, no big deal, though I was a little taken aback by the lack of masks. When someone did greet me, they confirmed my appointment time and sat me down in a chair to start on my hair. The hair stylist (seemed to be the co-owner of the salon) did not ask my name or introduce herself (I still do not know her name) but did ask what style I wanted and asked to see pictures. After that exchange, it all went downhill. She asked one of the younger girls to come over and curl my hair, which she did in less than 10 minutes. That alone should tell you the lack of care taken, as I have long, past should-length hair and it takes me 20+ minutes to curl my hair neatly at home. The curls were there, but messy, and the longer I looked at them in the mirror the less happy I was with them. I had nothing else to do but stare in the mirror, because the girl curling my hair never acknowledged me and instead carried on a conversation with everyone else in the salon except me. It felt very impersonal and I was kind of bummed. I do not expect to feel like a princess, but even a "so when is your wedding? Are you excited?" kind of question would have made me feel welcomed and supported. After the flash curling session, the main stylist came back over and finished my hair style (a simple cross hatch with a small bump in the back). Yet again, she did not introduce herself or attempt to talk to me at all. Instead, she was actively filling out a loan application for some large piece of equipment (yelling answers over my head to someone at the computer) and carrying on a general conversation with other staff and clients. I continued to stare at the mirror, as there was nothing else to do. The results were okay. To her credit she copied the style I wanted, just not very well (see pictures). I'm not sure if the results were due to lack of experience or lack of care. Again, I'm not a perfectionist, but the entire experience left me feeling like I was a mannequin head and not a person, plus that they clearly didn't care whether they got my business or not. My makeup experience was entirely different. The makeup artist was super sweet, asked me questions, chatted with me, and made me feel much better about my time at the salon. She also wore a mask during my entire makeup application. I would have hired them for makeup services but wanted to go with a full-service vendor, and I refuse to hire them for hair services after my experience. If this is how they treat customers before we sign the contract, I can't imagine how they would treat me afterwards. I ultimately decided I wanted a more caring energy on my wedding day.
