After a nightmare dealing with TD for an insurance claim on my home I decided this bank got enough…read moreof my money for the many years I have used them and wanted to go old school and find home and auto insurance through a traditional channel. We actually got referred to this broker by a friend of my husbands who works at the Fish Creek Nissan dealership who uses this broker for their car sales. I love it when I get someone on the phone right away, like a human without the robo menu is a bonus for me, so they started off right. The receptionist was super nice, listened to my concerns and gave me some feedback and was a total professional, she transferred me to a broker in the office and he was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to deal with and obviously knew the industry very well. He took some info and started an application for me and said he would get back to me by the end of the day and if he got busy he would have his assistant get back to me. Bonus points, a pretty solid human receptionist and assistant who would actually talk to me by the end of the day...ok, ok, I see you. By the end of the day I not only got a call back, the insurance was quoted LESS than what I was paying with TD and decided to add my car to get a better rate. I didn't even have to go in to the office, everything was done though phone and email and a pink card was emailed to me shortly afterwards. If I had to pay more, I would still use this office; its small but in a good way and I found out they also have an office in Edmonton. They remember you when you call, and send you emails keeping you informed-always a good sign and tells me they run a tight ship. I will never go through a bank again, it took over 6 months to settle a minor claim, but its my own fault for not shopping around, banks are in the business of making money not selling insurance so lesson learned. Kudos on being the small guys who still understand what customer service is, I will be referring friends and family here.

Thank you Sylvain and your team for your professional and friendly service…read more Very helpful and have always there when you need them. I was in the market for a vehicle so I got in touch with them for a quote. Sylvain suggested to do financing with State Farm (which I had no idea they did, by the way) and perhaps he could get me a better rate than what was offered at the dealership and lo and behold, Sylvain was able to save me money on financing charges on my new car and I had the ability to choose my financing term. I know exactly how much I'm paying for and for how long, everything was out in the open. Good to know that I wasn't getting ripped off or bombarded with unnecessary charges/fees. No hidden fees, no funny business, just great service and competitive rates! The whole application process was quick and easy and I was able to get into my car within a matter of days! I've very happy with the decision I made in using State Farm for my vehicle loan. Thanks Sylvain for suggesting it. I would definitely recommend Sylvain to my friends and family for any insurance needs in Calgary! Thanks again!

A major factor in this 5-star review I have to mention is Terence himself. From what I saw, he makes a huge effort to help every single customer who walks through his door, whilst allowing his employees to still do their job. His attitude is one of friendliness and he will engage with you without being a "pushy sales rep". I've had enough customer service experiences in my life to know when someone truly cares, or when someone is just trying to flatter you into doing business with them, and I believe Terence truly cares! Compared to the other companies I looked at (about 4), I believe I received a very fair price and left the office feeling like they truly did care and that they have my back. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
