Less than eight quid for two thick slices of toast with sunny side up eggs, a Cumberland sausage, rashers of bacon, mushrooms and beans. The menu offered additional offers of crispy potato (hash brown) and black pudding. I asked whether I could substitute the mushrooms and beans for a hash brown or pudding, and expected there to be a charge? No charge. Very, very pleased with everything. Excellent service, delicious food, superb atmosphere. Definitely a fan, I will return!

I like my beers a little on the hoppy side, so this choice was perfect: not too hoppy, but still carries a citrus taste. With a menu heavily slanted towards brunch, I ordered the traditional English breakfast and was satisfied. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly worth recommending to the casual visitor.
