Posh nosh but without being pretentious, nice and cosy atmosphere, waiter was attentive but not pushy.
The food was simple and perfectly cooked, I had pidgeon for starter, followed by the duck, both of which were nice and pink. My wife had English breakfast salad to start and Sea Bass with samphire.
For the evening menu, two courses were £22 and 3 courses were £32.
The wine was very good, but then you cant go wrong with a Rioja Crianza, which was £25 a bottle, thats at the cheaper end of the wine list.
With a gooseberry cheese cake, cheese and biscuits, coffees and a brandy, the bill came to £105 for 2 people.
