It's wonderful place. I love the ladies at the desk as well. They are always so helpful and nice With the COVID19, they made everything more comfortable. The only complaint I had today is about the red headed young girl who was doing the glasses . I was going to sit my 2 year old in the chair to put his shoes on and her tone was a little off about us needing to sit to the side. But she may not have had a good day or something. I hope our next meeting goes better and if she was having a bad day, it got better.

They took their time and made sure you were happy with your choices. But beyond that, my spouse had a serious eye condition. He has been to several optometrists over the years and told he had holes in his retinas but was never told it was important to have it checked beyond an eye exam. Family Eye Center did not just pass him off. They schedule him to see a specialist where he found out one of the holes was leaking. If he had waited much longer he could have lost vision in that eye. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I can not express my gratitude and appreciation for everything you did for us.

BEWARE: Any thing happens to your glasses they do their best to blame you, No refunds given Especially with a no brainer. They have new lense manufacture who make your glasses and they are crap.

Brought my daughter here for the first time yesterday. They were friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait considering we were on time for our appointment. We ended up being there longer than expected because of this. There are religious materials LITERALLY on every surface of this place. Religious tracts on the counters, religious books on the tables, religious quotes by the glasses and on the wall in the children's area. I felt like I was in eye church. Very bizarre - but despite feeling like I did not belong there, they DID do a good job and I will continue bringing my daughter there for her vision needs.

Terrible customer service. We paid upfront and were told to expect a call in about a week, when the…read moreglasses were ready. 2 weeks later, we hadn't received a call, so I followed up. The same older woman who accepted payment answered and told me it really should be 10 business days, that they say 7 to 10 business days but the company who installs the lens tells them to say 10. Ok. So another week goes by, never a single phone call. At this point we are at 14 business days. And the same lady answers, tells me oh they arrived yesterday afternoon. She then tells me that it takes 10 to 14 business days, so they are on time. How we go from one week, to 7-10 business days, to 10-14 is ridiculous. She then starts complaining on and on about their employee Hannah, and it must be her fault. I cut her off to say we will come pick them up now. So when I go to pick them up, she starts in on defending her Hannah bashing. "Can I please get the glasses and the prescription?" More about Hannah. So I asked why she flat out lied to me about how long it would take, 7 then 7 to 10, then 10 to 14. And she admitted she had lied and asked me and God to forgive her for lying. I asked if they really arrived yesterday, like she had said. She didn't know but assumed they may have and Hannah was too busy to call. I asked when they actually ordered the glasses. No idea. Hannah may not have ordered them on time or the company may have broke the first pair, no way to know. So the lady who greets customers, takes orders, accepts money, and answers phones, is apparently not the one who runs the phone or places orders. I find that incredibly hard to believe. But then she is the doctor's sister, so she doesn't really have to do a good job. I feel sorry for the employee who replaces Hannah.

I went in this morning, as they told me to on the phone because they would only accept us as a walk in. They turned my daughter away even though it was just after 8 in the morning because they already had so many walk in patients waiting. I would recommend no one see Dr. Woods since - despite getting paid for seeing these patients just as any others, he treats them like second class citizens.

When I had my exam, Dr. Woods was friendly and welcoming. Even though my prescription and glasses were several years old, my prescription had hardly changed and she didn't push me to get new frames or lenses. I felt like she cared more about my quality of care then a sale. I will definitely be visiting again for my next appointment.

Instead, they made me wait 40 minutes past my appointment time just to turn me away without even letting me see the dentist. They wasted my time and showed zero communication or accountability. After being blamed for their poor craftsmanship, treated so poorly, and expected to pay double, I am no longer comfortable letting this office touch my teeth. I get to the room and 3 nurses are attacking him at once, not bothering to talk to either of us or explain what was going on. I am a nurse so I am my husband's advocate. I told them to just tell him what they are doing or need to do. One nurse just grabbed his pants and started to take them off with no warning. He grabbed them and said what are you doing with my pants. Then she said he had to remove them for a heart cath. He said no problem, how about a heads up before you start grabbing me. I have serous back problems. They said he would be having the surgery the next morning, so he said go home because they promised to call if he went to surgery before I got there the next morning. My husband called me that night to tell me he had the cath and they put a Stent in, no one told me anything!!!! I was livid! I can't tell you what was done because I don't know until I take him for his followup.

I needed a new Dr. in the area and saw him advertising on billboards in town (I should have recognized the signs from that alone). I booked a visit and went in to see him. I told him I was private pay and uninsured. My first visit he was very quick and send to be reading a questionnaire from webmd and was firing of questions at me. Be briefly asked me about my blood glucose numbers, asked if I could afford his special blood work pricing and ordered me up some glucose and cholesterol. He upped my metformin and lisinopril dosages and left the room with out even addressing my shoulder problem. This was June 24th 2012. The visit and blood work cost me $210 out of pocket. I had a follow up visit a month later in July. I had lost 9 lbs and made significant progress on my blood glucose. When the dr came in, he asked my about my numbers, I handed him my iPhone log and he scrolled though them. I tried to explain that the "out of Bed" entries were the fasting. He said it is not where he likes it and would like to put me on lantis (insulin). I reminded him I was private pay. He said it wasn't that expensive, and the cheaper medicine would require too much monitoring for me. I also asked him to adress my shoulder and he grabbed it, pushed it behind my head and asked if it hurt. The grimace on my face wasn't enough I guess. He said he would have to refer me and I would need an MRI were $500+ and told me I probably couldn't afford it. In this visit he also prescribed me Prozac for my mood/anxiety. The "not too expensive" lantis was $150 a month, so I did not have it filled. I picked up the pace on my diet and exercise routine and was able to get my fasting glucose numbers down to normal range with the metformin, diet and exercise. A few days before my 3rd monthly visit, I called to reschedule my appointment because I literally did not have the money due to having to buy back to school supplies for my kids. I figured that he would understand the situation and have no problem prescribing me my 3 NON-NARCOTIC medications and see me next month for a follow up. I was wrong. Not only was the lady in the office rude to me when I called she said he wouldn't do it with out asking him. After a little coaxing she said she would talk to him and call me back. I gave her my normal glucose and blood pressure numbers so she could tell him. I never got a call back. I called back the following day and was passed around to 3 different people before being told he WOULD not refill my prescriptions without a visit. I re-explained that I LITERALLY could not pay for the visit and asked pleadingly if he could do it for this month and she flat out said no. She was being very rude and was trying to get of the phone with me. I again said please and also reminded her that it would be extremely unsafe for me to stop all of these med abruptly. She just replied YOU NEED A VISIT. I had a weird feeling about this guy on the first visit. I should have followed my gut. I apologize for such a long review. I am now attempting to ween my self off of 3 medications with the few I have remaining. If you are looking for an Enterprise Dr., please take head to my story.

Dr. Ellis is my daughter's osteopathic physician who practices at the New Horizons Wellness Center. Although he is not a pediatrician, I found him to be a patient doctor who my daughter feels very comfortable with. The appointment did not involve a lot of waiting that we have experienced in other places. The receptionist was pleasant. The nurse was also very nice. Dr. Ellis took a proper amount of time talking to us about her medical history and doing the examination. I would recommend him to others looking for a local doctor.
