I ended up with a C-Section where I had to be put under instead a local which would have numbed me from the waist down, because he manhandled me so badly that I was feeling pain instead of pressure. And when searching for a tool to insert under my ribs (I am a very small woman) all they had were larger, which he forced into place. All of which would be bad enough on it own, but he CUT my baby taking her out of the womb. The first time I heard my baby it was because she was screaming in pain. She had a cut an inch long that went deep into the meat of her shoulder, which has scarred her little s. And he showed no give a damn. Instead of concern or an apology I received the excuse that my uterus was thinner than expected. And not 15 hrs later I had to go in for a CT scan because he wasn't certain if he had nicked or sutured my bladder shut. My baby's father and I have 16 nieces and nephews between the two of us with planned and emergency c-sections and not once had we ever heard of the horrible experience that my baby and I endured.

It was the front staff that was disconcerting. I don't know her name but she had dark hair and wore glasses. She was rude when I arrived. I drove two hours to get there and I was 2 minutes late. Which she mentioned. She was rude to other people as they checked out to get future appointments. She snapped her gum which made her even more annoying. It's the front desk that makes the first impression upon a business and especially a medical business. It would have been nice if she could have just smiled.

One of the most disappointing healthcare experiences imaginable…read more My boyfriend went through the process of getting a referral, scheduled an appointment, and took time away from work (nearly an hour) to receive medical care. The reason for the appointment was outlined in the referral, yet when he arrived, the doctor essentially told him they didn't have a basic medical instrument needed to examine his ear and made little to no effort to find an alternative or help him. He was essentially left being told there was nothing they could do for him. To make matters worse, when my boyfriend asked the doctor to examine some moles on his skin, the examination felt rushed and lacked the attentiveness and care a patient should reasonably expect from a dermatologist. I understand that not every office has every piece of equipment available, but what I cannot understand is the complete lack of initiative, compassion, or willingness to help find a solution. If the office was unable to address the very reason for the referral, why was this appointment allowed to proceed in the first place? It's already difficult enough to encourage someone you love to prioritize their health and seek medical attention. Experiences like this only make that harder. People are taking time off work, losing wages, paying for appointments, navigating referrals, and putting their trust in medical professionals because they have genuine concerns about their health. The least they should be able to expect is that their time, money, and concerns will be taken seriously. Instead, my boyfriend paid for an appointment, sacrificed time away from work, and walked away without receiving meaningful help for the very concern he was referred to address. Essentially, he paid to have his time wasted. I don't have the doctor's name, but honestly, this reflects poorly on the entire clinic. Management should be taking a serious look at the level of care being provided and the expectations they have for their staff. Nobody should have to go through all the trouble of accessing healthcare just to leave feeling dismissed, inconvenienced, and no closer to getting the help they originally came in for. These are real people with real families who love them, worry about them, and want to see them receive the care they deserve. Patients deserve better than this. An incredibly disappointing experience and certainly not the standard of care anyone should have to settle for.

I walked in and felt an immediate relief as the office was clean, calming and a breath of fresh air. Jill did my Botox and Juvederm filler and she was sweet, she listened and made me feel comfortable. I wanted to wait to give my review to make sure everything "settled" in the right place and it sure did! I will be a new client and I will tell all the Mom's I know about Almond.

I have had these treatments done since I was in my early 20s I am now in my 50s. First let's talk about the Botox. I asked to have my forehead, frown and eyebrows treated. If you know anything about Botox you know that for your frown and forehead the practitioner will use anywhere between 40 and 60 units. The practitioner here used a total of 29 units for all 3 areas. I didn't question it. Two weeks post treatment, I had all my movements. No changes whatsoever. I called and was given another appointment for a touch up. I went in for that and I received 13units. Two weeks post treatment still no changes. I had all my movements. I called again and let them know. They wanted to schedule me for a third appointment. I went ahead and booked. Ok let's move on to the fillers. I had my lips, marionette lines and cheeks all treated during my initial appointment. She used 2 syringes of Versa for a total of 2.4 ml. My lips are uneven. The upper lip is so much fuller than my lower lip and the right side of my upper lip is fuller than my left side. No changes whatsoever in my marionette lines. I ended up spending a little under $2000 for my initial visit and $169 for my Botox touch up. I still had my third appointment booked. I mentioned my experience to a coworker who has also had treatments done. Not by this facility. She advised me not to come to this place because they were known for doing this. Always bare minimum to keep you coming back and paying. I canceled all my appointments and decided to go see a plastic surgeon who not only did an excellent job but also charged $3 less a units of Botox.
