Someone from the office called me about 20 minutes after I left the call, saying Dr. Bailey was seeing other patients and would I like to reschedule. I said no. I don't need any other information to let me know that I need to look for another provider. Very unprofessional operation, I don't recommend.

I had twisted both knees and heard cracks. Big pain! Couldn't walk. I had to be brought in a wheelchair. He only looked at x-rays, noted there were no breaks or arthritis, and asked me to extend my legs. I couldn't. I was sent home with pills, diagnosed with inflammation. He literally spent about four minutes with me. I asked Resurgens for another doctor. No. Five months later I was still hobbling. My PCP ordered an MRI and referred me back to Bircoll with torn cartilage, debris and a baker cyst. Again, Bircoll never examined my knee or asked me any questions. He kept me waiting almost two hours so he could look at the MRI. Then he chastised me for getting the MRI, remarking that the results didn't matter because I'm old and I just have to live with it. I don't know if he ever looked at the MRI. Judging by the way he was dodging questions, I think not. I asked how to help my knees heal better, what to do for the pain and swelling, or to help the cyst reabsorb. He flatly refused to answer anything. You go to a doctor for help. This one has done nothing - twice. There won't be a third time.
