After my first session, she worked with me to arrange times for future Physical Therapy Sessions. Traci was an awesome Physical Therapist. She answered questions thoroughly and explained the exercises and gave guidance to prevent further injuries. I appreciate Traci's patience and sharing her expertise. Additionally, I was given exercises to execute at home for further recovery. The facility is clean and well equipped with the necessary tools and experts to ensure the success of the patients. It would be nice to receive my money back along with apology, but I guess that's too much to ask... I was twice at this location. I had issues with the fingers' pulleys in my hand. The female PT with ridiculously long orange artificial nails was trying to address my issues. Due to these nails, she had problems demonstrating the proper exercises for my hand. She was pushing down on me the needling, which I refused. She promised to give me a set of exercises in print to take them home. At the end of the first session, she told me she would email me the exercises instead of printing them. It was weird, considering that typically PT demonstrates the exercises first so you can do them at home. Nevertheless, I have never received an email from her. I kept calling the office for the next few days, and I was assured that they would relay the message to my PT. I confirmed that they have the correct email address. In the end, I had to go to the second appointment due to the fact that they have a 24h cancelation policy. I asked my PT about the email she was supposed to send me, and she told me that her computer broke down!? We are talking about the office with multiple computers, by the way. Anyway, the second visit ended up being a total disaster. My PT was not paying much attention to me (she had two or even three patients simultaneously). Again issues to demonstrate the exercises due to the nails described above. In the end, she made me execute some series of quasi-pull-ups on the 45-degree bench and left me to it. It was supposed to test my strength and how I was doing. She watched some TV! and helped some other patients in the meantime. Unfortunately for me, I managed to execute the exercise. At the time, I just felt that it was very strenuous. By the time I was leaving the office, I had noticed that my arms were bent at the elbows - there was quite a bit of tension in my arms. Also, she opted to print out the exercises this time around. On the way out, she quickly demonstrated exercises, again struggling with her nails. At this point, I was still on the fence about the next visit. It changed the next morning. I woke up to severely sore shoulders and arms. I had serious issues straightening my arms and elbows. They were permanently bent at about a 120-degree angle. My entire back was tilted to one side. It was scary! I lost my confidence in my PT and had to contact my doctor to address the problem. I lost two days of work and experienced dreadful excruciating pain. The pain receded very slowly throughout the next six days. It took me another week to hold my arms straight without forcing them to do so. The bottom line is that I came to the office with a minor pulley issue in my fingers, and I ended up losing two days of work and suffered a week of scary pain. I was really concerned about permanent damage to my arms. Not fun! On top of that, I ended up paying for it! Ridicules! Hopefully, the described individual will pull her act together. I am about to file a complaint to the board too, so if you are interested, you can cross-reference the names. read more

From being greeted at the front by Tonya to receiving assessment and treatment by all the therapist my experience was awesome. I received treatment from here over the course of 5 months on one occasion and 2 months on another occasion. I didn't believe the plan would work on my first visit but the next morning after my first session I woke up feeling less stiff and less aches. Physical therapy is a very important part of training your body to health. If you have been injured and need physical therapy in this area of Atlanta, come here. I've been to different Benchmark locations and they all were great. This location is currently rehabilitating my shoulder after a rotator cuff injury on the job. I'm am very pleased with my decision to come here. Quite like i imagined it, the ladies at the front desk smile and have a wonderful attitude. All of therapists are great at what they do, very knowledgeable of their career and really care. There are many different personalities who will come into this establishment and there is a therapist to match the good energy you bring and to uplift you if you're down. Aaron is a very cool, easy going fun and informative guy. Mr. Honeycutt will make you laugh or increase your smile, he's funny and animated. Kristeen is very cool, meticulous and progressively helpful. There's a couple of other ladies that I've observed assisting patients and their interactions were laughs, passion and concern. The new lady Ashley has a nice character and will be very good because she's learning from a great core of professionals who love the people they help and what they do. Great experience with physical therapy. Christine was awesome and helped get me back on my feet-stronger than I was before I started PT. She helped me understand the exercise I was doing and how it would help my knee. Admin staff were always helpful. Great team spirit with everyone working there.
