I went in with what I believed was a…read morefungal nail infection, but the doctor did not examine my foot hands\-on, touch the affected toe, take a nail scraping, or perform any testing\. I was simply told that the nail needed to be completely removed, without being offered other treatment options\. I was uncomfortable proceeding with such an invasive treatment without further evaluation, so I sought a second opinion\. The second doctor actually examined my foot, tested the nail, diagnosed the fungal infection, and prescribed medication\. Thankfully, the problem was successfully treated without having my nail removed\. I'm very glad I trusted my instincts and got another opinion\. If a doctor is recommending removing an entire nail, I would expect a thorough examination and a discussion of less invasive treatment options first\. I was also surprised that this office passes the credit card processing fee on to the patient\. I'm already paying for the medical visit, and then I'm charged an additional fee simply for paying by credit card\. I personally have not encountered this at other doctors' offices, and it added to my disappointment with the experience\. Between the lack of a hands\-on examination, being given only the option of nail removal, and the additional credit card fee, I would not return to this practice or recommend it to others\.

He took the time to explore conservative options first. When it became clear that surgery was the right next step, Dr. Duckett performed my shoulder surgery, and it truly gave me my life back. I was expecting bad news, but he informed me that it was something called "frozen shoulder" which is not uncommon for diabetics, and recommended a path of PT rather than surgery. After 8 weeks, my shoulder is showing better range of motion and strength. I stopped in today and Dr. Ansari told me that if I continue to do some of the exercises at home and in the gym, I could likely be pain free in a few months. Dr. Ansari and the staff here are fantastic. Dr. Ansari is professional, knowledgeable, and also takes the time to be sure that everything is explained thoroughly so that there is no confusion. I highly recommend Dr. Ansari if you are having issues. What I expected to be a huge problem and most likely surgery was the answer...ended up being something I could address with minimal effort (outside of PT) and cost. I was able to call into the scheduling center to book a same week appointment with a provider at the flowery branch location. After scheduling the appointment, all of the check-in paperwork was sent electronically and easy to complete online prior to the visit. Once arriving, the front desk staff sent me straight into X-ray and afterwards intake with the athletic trainer was completed. My appointment was at 2:20pm and by 2:40 I was in the room waiting for my provider. Dr. Kenyon was great. He was personable, thorough, and took his time during the visit to address my concerns and provide his input. He offered several recommendations and I didn't feel as though he was encouraging anything unnecessary. Very satisfied with my visit and will certainly recommend this location to friends and family.
