I had been struggling with my shoulder for a few months when I decided to come in and meet with Dr…read more Ansari here. I was expecting bad news, but he informed me that it was something called "frozen shoulder" which is not uncommon for diabetics, and recommended a path of PT rather than surgery. After 8 weeks, my shoulder is showing better range of motion and strength. I stopped in today and Dr. Ansari told me that if I continue to do some of the exercises at home and in the gym, I could likely be pain free in a few months. Dr. Ansari and the staff here are fantastic. Dr. Ansari is professional, knowledgeable, and also takes the time to be sure that everything is explained thoroughly so that there is no confusion. I highly recommend Dr. Ansari if you are having issues. What I expected to be a huge problem and most likely surgery was the answer...ended up being something I could address with minimal effort (outside of PT) and cost. Cannot thank Dr. Ansari and team enough! Highly recommend.

I was scheduled with Dr. Yarbrough. After doing some research, I discovered that Dr. Yarbrough does not specialize in shoulder conditions. Concerned about this, I called the scheduling department three separate times and spoke with three different representatives. Each one assured me that Dr. Yarbrough could evaluate both my knee and shoulder and advised me to bring my previous shoulder MRI if I had it. During each call, I specifically requested an appointment with Dr. Ansari, who specializes in both areas. Despite my repeated requests, I was continually told to keep my appointment with Dr. Yarbrough. The first thing Dr. Yarbrough told me when he entered the exam room was that he would need to refer me to his colleague, Dr. Ansari, for my shoulder because he was not the appropriate specialist. He also ordered a new MRI. He never reviewed the MRI images that I had brought with me, despite the scheduling staff specifically instructing me to bring them. I was also required to have X-rays taken of both my knee and shoulder, even though my concern was not a bone injury. This added additional costs without addressing the reason for my visit. After the appointment, I spoke with the front desk and explained what had happened. I was told there was nothing they could do and that I should speak with the scheduling manager. I called scheduling, requested the manager, and was told she also could not help me and that I needed to speak with the billing department. I was transferred to a billing representative named Cindy, who listened to my concerns and then said she needed to consult with her manager. When I asked to speak directly with the manager, I was told that wasn't possible, that a message would be left, and that someone would contact me later. This entire experience was extremely frustrating. I made every effort to avoid being scheduled with the wrong provider by calling three separate times and clearly explaining my concerns. Despite repeated assurances, I was scheduled with a physician who immediately acknowledged he was not the appropriate specialist and referred me elsewhere. As a result, I was charged for a visit that could have been avoided, and now I have to schedule another appointment. It felt like an unnecessary referral process that resulted in additional charges and delays in receiving the care I originally requested.

When I approached the counter no-one greeted me, no hello, how are you, good afternoon.....Nothing. They didn't instruct me on anything or ask me any questions. Therefore, I signed in on the sheet and had a seat, thinking they will call me if they have any questions. There was a man and a woman at the receptionist's area. I watched the woman eating candy and watching tv. (the tv for the patients that is mounted on the wall in the waiting room.) I couldn't see the guy from where i was sitting, but could hear him on the phone. After sitting there for forty five minutes, the man calls my name. I limp over to the counter, and he said that I needed to fill out a new patient form. I asked him if Dr. Fisher was running late and he said no he wasn't. So, I asked why I had been sitting there so long, and he said he didn't see my name on the list. (No apology what so ever). I asked if they could just get the information from the computer since the doctor that had referred me was in the same network, and he said No, with quite an attitude. At this time, from being in pain and from sitting so long making it worse, I had had enough. I told him to cancel the appointment and walked out. Before I left, I went back in and asked for his name and he said it was Ray. I asked for his last name and he replied that he doesn't give out his last name. He then disrespectfully stated that he was the only Ray that worked in that office. I will be filling a grievance. It's a shame that he just couldn't have apologized in a nice way. I would have accepted that and filled out the paperwork, because I understand that mistakes happen. However, you don't take your mistakes out on someone else when it is your fault, just own it and move on! I did nothing wrong and did not deserve to be treated that way. This was handled very unprofessionally! Now I have to go through the process again to find another doctor because I feel they do not deserve my money!

I went to another doctor for a second opinion, who told me I urgently needed surgery, without it, I'd be unable to bend my toe again and would be in pain for a long long time. After surgery, my toe is back to normal bending and feeling great. I really wish Dr. Zaman took more time to see the injury, or TOUCH the toe to see that I had bone sticking up and down out of place, because he just took x-rays, popped in to tell me to just use a spacer, and left quickly. Very nice man, but very glad I went for a second opinion.

She made progress in my range of motion in my shoulder and was helping me. I had multiple injuries from a bad crash on 2/28. She went on vacation and Benchmark placed me with another therapist. This guy hurt me. Still hurts today or three months later. We were working on my broken clavicle plus shoulder muscle pain in my right shoulder. Rope and pulley. I couldn't use my left hand because of a broken arm surgery on 4/9. So the therapists would have to be my left hand or pull down on my left rope to help me with my right shoulder. It worked well until this guy got a hold of me. He pulled too hard. He overextended my painful right shoulder just weeks after my broken clavicle surgery and despite my repeated complaints about the muscle pain in my shoulder. He carelessly pulled my right arm straight up. I had to go back to ice packs on my shoulder day and night for at least a week and I stopped PT on my shoulder after that. Wellstar will finally scope my shoulder later this month and hopefully give me some relief. Benchmark hurt me in April and it's still very painful nearly three months later. I will never use Benchmark for physical therapy again. The lady that helped me for about a month was very good. The guy they put me with hurt me. I do not recommend taking a loved one here for physical therapy...
