They are timely and efficient, ensuring that you are getting the most out of your time with them, and not waiting around in between exercises. All of the staff seem like friends, and it's always a fun environment chatting with everyone while working out. Everything is clean, and I feel like they do a great balance of exercises during my sessions to help me get back to 100%. It's easy to schedule, and they have availability early and late most days. I even scheduled my first appointment online! I've worked the most with Zach, my PT, and Andrew, a PT assistant, and they're both awesome! This is a busy garage that I am very used to (just drive to the 6th or 7th floor and you're almost always guaranteed to have a spot without struggle). Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, use the crosswalk in the garage that connects Kirklin and Whitaker Clinic, pre pay for your ticket once leaving at a kiosk or pay the attendant (prepay is typically faster to get out). I'm so thankful this clinic (for my floor) has a 30 minute grace period because a 30 minute commute took an hour and 15 minutes the day of my appointment. It pays to normally plan to arrive to my appointments 30 minutes early so I had 15 minutes of a grace period left. Staff is efficient, they got me in and out much faster than my initial appointment, all questions were answered, we agreed on how to move forward and I was sent on my way. She is patient, caring & knowledgeable, and has been a huge part of my neck and lower back recovery. You then went through a door that led you to a long hallway of booths/office stations with suite numbers. Find yours, check in again with the individual at your designated suite and await being called for your appointment. I will say that the person I came in contact with to check in at my suite was lackluster. Could have been having a long day. Working with the public can be a drag. Not rude... just had no personality. Although it took a while to be seen - my physician was thorough, knowledgeable and willing to address any questions or concerns I may have had at the time. Pre pay for your parking garage ticket to get out faster on the floor before the main exit.

Construction probably began on this the newest expansion of this St. Vincent's One Nineteen campus…read moreabout 2 years ago. This Outpatient Surgery Center celebrated it's one year anniversary January of this year so they are quite "new". They are located right beside the original One Nineteen Wellness Center which houses physician groups on the top floors while the bottom floor is a complete gym with swimming pool. In fact, they even share the same parking lot. This outpatient surgery center can be compared to the "North Tower" which is located on the campus of the original St. Vincent's Hospital in downtown Birmingham. While the North Tower is larger and more established, it is also older and much busier. This new outpatient center has four state of the art operating rooms and 9 recovery bays. Equipped with the latest technology, they provide a wide range of same-day procedures but they specialize in spinal and GI. A year ago my Mother-in-law had to undergo her first epidural and she went to the the North Tower. Her 2nd epidural was also there but her next one and her most recent was here at this outpatient center. What a stark difference! Parking was ample. Accessibility, ambience, front desk staff, nurses... all professional, amazing, kind and friendly! I'm not necessarily implying that the staff at the North Tower are any less dedicated, but from a patient point of view, the experience is much more "pleasant" at this location. Their spotless lobby has a big tv to keep you entertained if you're waiting for a loved one who is having a procedure and they even have a small room off to the side where they have a Keurig type coffee maker for free coffee. I suspect that as word of this facility grows and more physicians gain access, it will become more popular, but for now if you are planning to have a same day surgical procedure, inquire if your surgeon has privileges here at this outpatient center. It would be worth a drive.

I met with Dr. Courtney Gregory and she and her team were great. My visit was almost like a consultation to see how to proceed for the next visit. Once she asked her questions I went down to the 1st floor for labs. The nurse was able to get blood on the first try which is always a plus especially when you have small rolling veins. Glad I was referred to them.
