I had an electrical issue with my microwave, it kept randomly tripping off despite nothing seeming to be wrong with it. I contacted Benchmark, and they had Ed and a couple guys up at my place within an hour. They were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. They tested the circuit, determined the issue was a faulty breaker, and had it swapped out in 15 minutes, for a total visit time of about 30 minutes. The cost of the visit was reasonable, and they were very upfront and direct about it, and mercifully they made no attempt to upsell anything. Overall, it was exactly what I was hoping for. Benchmark Home Services is simply the best electrical service I have ever been associated with. I have used them several times from simple outlets, wireless options that were amazing, to wiring my hot tube and some other upgrades to existing services. In my latest issue, Ed and his team were all busy on jobs but he took the time to talk me through some trouble shooting over the phone. Mr. Bishton made a very thorough inspection of the home we are in the process of purchasing. He invited us to tag along so he could explain everything and answer all our questions. We moved into our house last year and needed our electrical panel upgraded as well as some new lighting in the ceiling and setting up sun-panels for our driveway and yard and relocating the power mast. Ed, Kirill, and their team were super helpful in getting everything installed, flexible with our needs, true to their quoted prices, and their installation (as far as I can tell) was high quality work! Then, a year later, we also worked with the same team to remove an old furnace and install a new heat pump - again, everyone was super professional, respectful of our home, honest and clear in how they communicated and discussed what they were doing at each step. There was a a little hiccup in installation and Ed and Kirill very professionally owned the error and came back extra days to make it all right and ensure that it was installed correctly. They made things right, and the new HVAC is working perfectly we're again very pleased to have worked with Benchmark! Ed is great to talk to in person and super helpful. When he visited our home before getting us quotes he was instructive, thorough, friendly, and professional. We did have a few email communication issues - I think we asked too many questions, but when you're a new homeowner and nervous about work being done, asking about the work is all you can do. We got our questions answered however, and we got the work done and we're very glad that we did!! Overall, Benchmark are trustworthy and honest and do high quality work with respect and integrity.
