I spoke with Victor, who was incredibly friendly and pleasant said that he was planning on closing a little bit early because it was New Year's eve, but then offered to stay a little later in order to help get this watch sorted that night! (Totally did not need to do this). When we arrived Victor, (very well dressed, stylish gentleman) sat us down, made my son, and I feel very welcome, and then proceeded to explain what he was going to do to the watch and made suggestions about how many links to remove and why. He was able to make the adjustments very quickly, under 5 mins and was extremely pleasant and professional from start to finish! All around. I wanted to do a fixed pendant for the diamond in the engagement ring and make cluster earring from the small stones in the wedding band. Emmett helped me pick a chain and ensured they had a clear picture of what I wanted for the reasons, then provided a full quote including the purchase of the scrap gold. It was about 40% less than I was previously quoted. I paid the deposit and hoped for a good outcome! I picked up my new jewelry Sunday and couldn't be happier! The jewelers at Donna's offered to repair or replace. It was a substantial difference in price but knowing how the shank was compromised, I went for replacement. They suggested a thicker and slightly wider shank and sized it up a 1/4 size. I picked it up a week later and it looks fantastic. You cannot detect the repair and it was beautifully polished. I'm pleased to know this ring is secure for the next quarter century. I was also invited to return for free cleaning anytime.

I went to this place to get a new battery put in my Movado watch. This was the first time my watch…read morehas ever gotten serviced. The lady that helped me told me that the person that would service the watch was not in and would it would take a couple of days. A few days later they call me and tell me that the watch isn't working with the new battery. I thought it was weird that it wasn't working since it was before the battery dies. So I took it to the Swap o Rama flea market and the gentleman there opened the watch and told me that they bent a piece that holds the battery in place. He said instead of removing the piece probably by removing the screws they tried to pry it out and in turn scratching the pieces and bending the piece. So he ended up ordering the replacement parts and fixed it for me. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do happen to do business here be very careful because if they are doing this type of work, I can imagine where else they're cutting corners or deceiving customers. Whether it's with watches or gold jewelry that they sell or buy. I mean, I got my watch fixed at a flea market for God sakes.
