I…read morewent to the front because there was no line at the time and I have been stuck in long ones before. The person working the register got my order id and then hands me a receipt. He was not trained to confirm the details about the amount of my return. Unfortunately I was only given back the value of 60 % the cost of the item online and 50% of the cost in store. The month before this I had placed an online order that never arrived so part of my purchase was using a credit, but not the kind of credit that requires a minimum purchase. So I asked if I could exchange the item instead and he called a manager who was not interested in even listening and she called some 800 number and handed the phone to me. If the employee had confirmed the amount of the return I would have been able to do an exchange, but his failure to do that cost me money. And the manager was unwilling to cancel the return so I left without my pencil sharpener and lost the credit that they gave me for failing to deliver my order. This is not a lot of money, but i expent cashiers to be competent and I expect managers to train them. The store manager was awful, did not care about the customer and took no responsibility for running the store.

I did not do a whole lot of research on office furnishings prior and needed to get this done fast. Overall my experience was good, however getting the furnishings delivered was a bit disorganized . I had to call in a couple times to get the date figured out and it came down VERY close to the wire for me since I was vacating the old office and moving into the new one and needed furniture to avoid disruption in my business . Their moving truck was also broken for about a week or so (understandable) and deliveries were slowed as a result. That was a red flag to me since many customers were at the mercy of just one delivery truck .. I questioned as to why there was not a rental truck or Penske or Uhaul loaner they could have had to avoid being back logged. Being that delivering furniture appeared to be a significant part of their business. I know trucks at uhaul are fairly easy to get as I have rented several on moments notice many times In the end the truck was fixed and we were able to finally get the furnishings delivered. The delivery crew was professional and courteous. I leave very candid feedback so perhaps this last small criticism leaves me open to rebuttal, but I was a little surprised that delivery charges were added when you spend thousands of dollars on furnishings? I understand costs need to be covered but I thought that the amount extra was a bit steep to pay on top of everything else I just purchased.

I have been lied to by multiple employees and managers from this location. I have been following…read moreOffice Depot's instagram for months to get updated on product releases. Last week they made a story of product that is coming to stores. So I went in and asked availability. They said they didn't have any but informed me to return Tuesday. I waited until Monday when I went in again. They said they had no clue why the other member told me that because it is false. Was told they didn't have anything. Then later before I left I spoke with a manager that told me they had them but were not going to be putting them out yet due to upper management being off. The next day (Tuesday when they were supposed to be put out, they were not and were told again by a different employee they didn't have any and they didn't think any were coming into the store. I called in the afternoon to check availability, and was told they will be putting them out this Friday. I returned that Tuesday night before closing and asked again, I was told that they are not going to be here till next week. Today (Wednesday)I call again and sure enough they put them out today and they sold out. WHAT A JOKE. Why be told so many stories, and misinformation by multiple employees and managers just to do something completely different. Lost my business.
