We visited this place last weekend as we were hauling some of our old furniture and random trash, to dispose correctly. Since we were moving out of Bakersfield, we cleaned up our house and had lots of things to dispose and husband found this location. Drove 30 minutes to go here, and they weighed our u-haul and we didn't have to pay a fee to dump things since we were Bake residents. They weighed us again on our way out, to see how many lbs of items we removed at the trash site. It was super stinky and filled with trash stench. Ugh. Definitely need to shower immediately after going here. Lots of birds and flies everywhere! It was fun to experience what a disposal site / landfill looks like though. read more
