It was the price that concerned me for a 6 year warranty water heater (the lowest, cheapest water heater) installed. I would have possibly negotiated for a better water heater, but the initial quote from Titanz really put me off. Well above market price, including all the permits required. Install won't happen for a couple of days. I get scheduling, so not too bad of hit. I've since installed the top of the line 12 year water heater (because I'm a nerd). The tech should have known I knew what I was doing (see nerd reference) since I've replaced both heater elements, both thermostats and the anode rod. I see the leak at the weld point of the top element (nerd with magnifying glasses). I've done my research and have maintained and installed water heaters in the past. I don't mind supporting local business, but dang guys: know your audience.

After confirming that the compressor was shot, the Empire rep told me that his company would hook up a temporary outside unit to provide AC while the new Trane equipment shipped. His bid was considerably lower than the lone competing bidder, and he seemed loyal to his product. Empire Air was true to its word. Once I accepted its bid, the company provided me with a temporary outside unit. A few days later, a professional pair of workers installed the system. I am so glad I chose this company.
