Actual quotes, delivered very rudely: - "This dress should be dry cleaned, this is as much we can do." - "You were the ones who didn't want the tee shirts on a hangar, how can you complain now?" (well I did tell them no need to waster hangers, but then I didn't know they were worse than me in folding clothes. And that doesn't excuse the rudeness anyway) - "This shirt is ironed so bad, it is not my work." (not sure what he meant, looked like he was suggesting I was trying to sneak in a fresh shirt to be ironed. Some scam idea!) I am taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same. The owner is REALLY as good as everybody says. Super helpful! The cost for my self service load was 15-17 pounds total. Washing machines are a little small so one big load is actually two small or medium loads. The dryers are huge and will take both medium sized loads for only one dryer cycle. Lots of different food and drink choices on the same block of a charming London road...typical fish n chips pub, fancy coffee house, outdoor Italian place, Indian, Thai, etc. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. So if you want to save a bunch of money, OR--more importantly--if you want to get away from your family after a week of playing tourist...this is definitely your place. I went on a Wednesday early afternoon 1:30-3:00p, FYI.
