Back in October, my mother stopped in to get a new phone and through the process was told that she'd get a tablet for free because of promotion that was going on. When she got home, she realized that she was actually charged for the table. She called and they said she'd get a check in the mail but what arrived was a gift card for the price of the tablet. She stopped back in the store twice when she was back in Bismarck but didn't have time to wait - so she left a note for someone to call her. The next day, Sheyenne (the owner of the store) called and was as gracious and helpful as could be. She had shared that she thought the problem had previously been resolved but was ensuring that a check was being cut today and that my mom could keep the tablet for her hassle. Sheyenne earned a repeat customer today and we are thankful for her great customer service. read more

My mother received absolutely horrible customer service here. It started when we came to this store on May 7th to purchase a new phone and phone case. The employee helping us was very friendly and said that her phone would arrive to the store in 2 days and her phone case would be sent directly to her home in 2-5 days. She received her phone at the store and a new employee was setting it up for 2 hours (friendly but inefficient). Her case did not arrive in the promised 2-5 day timeframe but she did receive a text from Fed Ex and upon tracking her case we discovered that an employee at the verizon store had signed for it. Upon calling and questioning this, the employee said he needed more time to look into it. A couple of hours later, my mom called the store and said she was going to buy a case at the mall since we were going on a trip and wanted a refund on the case. They told us to go to another verizon store that's located in the mall to get the refund. That store could not refund it. My mom bought a case from a kiosk and we headed to this store where they would not refund her and told her the case would arrive that night. It didn't arrive until May 16th (a week later than initially promised). We live an hour from Bismarck but came to Bismarck for some errands on the 25th at which point we brought the case to the store to return. The employee was rude and refused to return the case since it was past two weeks of purchase and said she would talk to someone to take care of it (that was a lie as she hasn't contacted us). Pretty much every time we come to this store there is a long wait as there is usually only one employee there at a time. There's never a manager around to help customers with concerns which seems very strange. The fact that two of the employees were rude and gave us a run around is highly disappointing and I've never witnessed such horrible customer service in my life. On the bright side, we called the Verizon customer service line and were able to get my mother a refund on the case and the customer service representative did it in an efficient and courteous manner. I'm highly pleased with Verizon's customer service hotline but highly disappointed with this particular store and would recommend customers seek out other Verizon stores. read more
