Though this hotel is impeccably smaller than most (14 rooms max) my friends and I enjoyed a comfortable stay here.
Originally we booked through Priceline- however, the hotel is only associated with Booking.com. When I arrived, the attendant, Sonia, informed me that when customers book outside of the main hotel website or outside of their Booking.com listing, problems can occur. The room that I booked ended up only able to facilitate 2 people. and my party was 3. Sonia helped us obtain a new room at no additional charge, but advised that we should call before booking the next time, in order to ensure the correct arrangements are made. The Priceline website does not allow users to indicate how many people will stay in the room when the room is selected, so be mindful that you are thorough in ordering by calling the hotel and verifying first.
The rooms were exceptionally clean though modest. 2 beds were the only furniture of the bedroom, while a smaller room housed a counter, small refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom was a comfortable size, with a great looking tiled shower.
The sink is located within the bathroom as opposed to the usual set up most inns feature. Be advised that there are no hairdryers, so guests would have to bring their own.
The continental breakfast isn't really worth it. There is no common room or dining area save for 2 tiny tables in front of the main reception desk. The food is served on a small counter in the same room and consists of a small display of bagels, Milk, Juice, and some cereals. A few blocks away you'll find a Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, McDonalds, IHOP, and Denny's, so I'd recommend driving out for breakfast.
There's really nothing within walking distance of this place. It's primarily surrounded by auto shops, and is next door to an auto-zone. If you're going to stay here, be aware that you will need a car to get around.
I hadn't seen anyone but Sonia as far as staff goes. I passed the counter on multiple occasions and hadn't seen her there. When she cannot be found, right outside the main door is a doorbell. She can hear this from another office where she typically is when not attending the main desk.
All in all the hotel was pretty nice. A humble stay, but not at all a poor one. read more
