The portions are very large so if we went again, we would share the entree but still get our own salads. For a Wednesday evening, it was very busy, but still plenty of open spots at the outdoor tables. Try the Champignonrahmschnitzel (paniert) mit Spätzle and a Colaweizen and you won't go wrong.

There was not done a lot about it and when I came in to clarify the situation the owner didn't seem to be very interested in the matter at all. The food was not bad but rather average. For this price category one certainty expect more. I do not think I will ever come back again.

The area surrounding this guest house has so much character and there are tons of picnic tables surrounding the area within a beautiful garden. This was a perfect little stopover for our long road trip we were taking from Italy back to the Netherlands. The people who were greeting us were also very kind and friendly and welcoming. Just a point to note, their main office closes at 11 PM so if you arrive after 11, you won't be able to check into your room. Other than that we had a very relaxing night here

A proper family run country hotel, an extremely good restaurant with large summer terrace,…read moreconfortable and quiet beds with plenty of parking space next to their family run farm, at EUR35,- p.P.per night with breakfast, it seemed quite good for what we got. Mrs. Steinert seems to run the place during the weekdays whilst at weekends she takes care of her grandchildren leaving the heavy work to her son. They have obviously learnt what they are doing and take great care on a familier basis over their hotel and restaurant customers. Not really a place to visit if you don't like steps, there is no lift, and I personaly have a problem with sloping roofs in the rooms on the third floor. The breakfast was what one might call adequate but only local produce and very tasty. A very good local and not pricey wine list, visited by locals who justv want a bite, and others that require full culinary and local cuisine services. It is the sort of place to just feel easy and always return to.

I stayed here for 2 nights when I was visiting the city for work. I had a very pleasant stay here! The hotel location is a little bit away from the old town area, but it is walk-able. My colleague and I did it several times and it was not that bad. The Hotel is nice and the rooms are nice as well. Its your typical Hampton Inn Hotel. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, the bedding felt new. The staff that worked at the hotel was great, personable and kind. They offered great suggestions on dinner recommendations and were very friendly. The Train station is about a 10 to 15 minute car ride from the hotel. Its walkable but its not good if you have a bag with you. I would for sure recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area. I will prob be staying here again this fall. Check it out~

Two days before the event, my father in law unfortunately passed away and we understandably wanted to cancel the hotel. Via phone the contact was very difficult - they had to start the computer first as they told us and then they did not find the reservation apparently via the booking.com reservation number. Via booking.com message the contact worked finally with 12 hours delay an a lot of troubles A cancelation finally was not possible even for the such a case. I am asking myself what reason this hotels needs, if not for an obviously unexpected and unplannable death in closest family.
