Their attention-to-detail was excellent. 2. Clear, friendly communication. All questions were resolved quickly and kindly. 3. Professionalism. Maurice was laser focused on helping my husband and I navigate decisions and keep our project moving on time and within our budget. I would definitely hire them again.

So we did not park or walk in the concrete for 10 days. Mind you both entry ways to the house were done. I followed all directions of not disturbing the concrete. I also complied with advertising on my property. On Sept 22nd I noticed what was considered a "settlement" crack per Tim. He also stated that it takes a total of 28 days for the concrete to completely cure. I was told someone would come out to repair it. I continued to reach out and was told they were really busy. Then once winter arrived I knew they wouldn't be able to do the work. Fast forward to March I started tracking out again. They finally came in April to "patch" the crack. It rained about 3 hours after they left and it looked as if nothing had been done. I reached back out and was told that is the way it's supposed to look and they would be back. Well now it's June almost July and no one has returned and now another crack has surfaced. Although they have been nice and courteous the follow-up does not meet expectations. It'll soon be a year and I paid as agreed but the service once they get your money lacks.

In the past 6 months, I've used Detailz three times for my Baltimore City home! If contracting…read moresomeone 3 times for 3 different projects doesn't represent 5 stars, I don't know what does! I first heard of Detailz after posting on a neighborhood forum in search of a contractor who could repair/retain my basement wall which partially collapsed during the big January snow storm. Ilan reached out directly to me and was very helpful via email which convinced me to have him come out for an estimate. I also asked 2 other contractors for estimates before making my decision but I immediately knew Detailz would be our go-to within moments of meeting Ilan. He's very professional and straight forward. I didn't feel pushed to make a decision right away and I felt like he was being honest with me about pricing/costs. Moreover, as a woman, I felt safe with Ilan - whether he was conscious of it or not, I felt like he took extra steps to ensure I felt safe and comfortable with him as the only person in the house during the estimate. Once we signed the contract, Ilan was easy to keep in touch with, get my questions answered, and was quick to set a work date. His crew was great. The work was excellent, they kept a clean work space, and once again, I always felt safe when I was in the house alone. I hired Detailz again this summer after the basement issue continued to be an issue - not Detailz work, of course.... just the rest of the basement which was letting in water which gave me consider related to mold and the integrity of the foundation. I still asked for 2 other estimates even though I know we'd end up going with Ilan. All the estimates provided were similar. As with the first job, Ilan was easy to keep in touch with, set up a work date very quickly, and his crew worked hard and fast to get the work done which included a drainage system in the basement and a new drainage system outside. I'm really happy with the work and feel so much better about the condition of my basement. Finally, we had the crew to the house to clean our air ducts. It was something I mentioned in passing to Ilan during the 2nd job and he informed me it was something new they could do. Of course, it was easy to hire him for the job knowing I'd receive quality work and clean breathing. As usual, the process was easy and smooth. Both my partner and mom have met Ilan and both have expressed how nice and easy he was to work with. My neighbor who works from home also expressed to me how great the crew was during their 4 days working outside in between our little ally way. I highly recommend Detailz - you won't be disappointed!

What I got was 4.75" on one end and only 3 1/2" on the other end. Even worse, they ran out of concrete for the walkway and ran out to Home Depot for bags of concrete to hand mix. I requested an extended warranty because the driveway was so thin on one end. 2 months after the warranty expired the front walkway started to crumble.

He came to the site and texted me the next day with an estimate of $4,050, which we later agree in a final quote of $3,700 claiming to give me a "Military discount." I made a mistake of letting Jermaine Holland know that I was scammed by a contractor that supposed to do the patio before, and he pretended to be different... vouched that his company is not a scam. He stated that he will make sure that he (Jermaine Holland) builds my trust in black-owned small businesses again. I fell for it. He asked for $3000 upfront for materials, which I gave to him. After two weeks of asking him when the project will start, he finally answered my call with a yell on the phone, blaming me that it is because I did not give him his remaining amount ($700), that was the reason why the project hasn't started. I was calm and patient all the while because I did not want any uglier incident, and I sent him the remaining $700 that day (February 1, 2023). Jermaine Holland still did not let me know when the project will commence. I became worried. Jermaine Holland is very disrespectful, unprofessional, and insulting. He will send me video calls without notification or asking for permission. He will also come to my property without my knowledge, but I get to know through the camera I installed on the property. He refused to give a start date of the project and will yell at me whenever I asked him for the start date. Jermaine Holland is a racist and has made a racial slur severally when talking to customer and he did it to me as well. Jermaine Holland told me to go back to my Country and ask for the start date of my patio project. He now told me not to send him any more messages as he is not owing me anything... and this is after paying him $3700. He did not do the project neither did he refund my money. No one should be put in this kind of wicked situation. Please, stay away from this company.
