Greg loaned us a charger temporarily while other businesses either didn't have a spare or wanted to sell us a new charger. It's hard to find good people who would do that in this day and age. Dr Scott's staff person is also really helpful and helpful on Wednesdays when the doctor is not in. Anyhow a few days ago Doctor Scott did a HUGE favor for my Mom and family. This is what happened and the quick thinking of doctor Scott to help us. Mom had a new hearing aid on order, Mom was at the end of her life too. I went to check if the new hearing aid may have came in. I walked in the the office as soon as I knew it was open. Doctor Scott was drinking coffee and looking through the newspaper when I entered. I said my good mornings and told the doctor who I was and why I was there. Doctor said her hearing aid might have just come in and put down everything and went inside one of his offices. He returned and said only the ear piece had returned but the other half of the unit might be in next week. I told Dr Scott I don't think my Mom will last into next week let alone the end of this week. Doctor to me he see what he can do. He came out off the office and said we can try this, doctor had an other half of the ear piece and said we can try this, when can your mom come in. I again told him about her situation and was not moving from her room. Doctor tested the device in his ear then told me how to install the ear piece and then showed me how to cut the clear tube so it sits properly over her ear. I thanked the doctor for all the years of service and support he had given my mom over the years and I then left the office. Visited my Mom after that, she was resting with her eyes closed. I said mom I got your new hearing aid and she didn't move or open her eyes. I did what the doctor told me to do and then engaged the battery and placed unit into her ear. Her eyes opened up and she smiled after I spoke to her. I then played some music and she moved her arms a bit too! Her eyes were open for a long time after that when her normal was to open eyes and after a few minutes close them and go back to sleep. We talked to her and she smiled or whispered a few words back. I'm very grateful that on her last day on earth my Mother was able to hear music and our voices too. I'm very certain that she heard us as she drifted off into the spirit world later that night as I said my goodbyes into her ear.

The waiting room was small and packed, so some people had to sit outside. Inadequate parking available. You only meet the actual surgeon, Dr Siapco on the day of surgery, and he is in a rush because there is a line up of people having the surgery. The surgery is at a separate facility and is an assembly line experience. The staff at the surgery center were not properly attentive to me so not aware that I was experiencing atrial fibrillation as it seems no one was watching the monitors. When asked by the anesthesiologist 10 minutes before having my R eye surgery how I was doing, I mentioned I was OK but having wonky heartbeats. Then all of a sudden I'm having a ECG, my surgery cancelled and made to go directly to my PCP while everyone talked stroke stroke stroke creating fear in me. My experience with using this office for cataract surgery was a very traumatic experience.
